I go there regularly but only during the day as he told me not to come at night. Yes north regent has changed, but south is still bad. Last time I was there he told me “if I’m at a red light and anything happens just run it”. What I said was absolutely true. Also, I didn’t say regent today has the highest murder capita in Canada, I said back in the 90’s it was. Even today, go for a stroll on parliament/Dundas area at night.

regent park isnt the first north american housing project. Im not exactly sure which one is, but i know that Ida B. Wells and Cabrini Green (both Chicago) were made in 1940 and 1941. Regent Park is the first Canadian housing project tho

In the 90’s-2000’s it was the most dangerous city of Toronto and even had the highest murder capita in Canada. So yes it was extremely bad
