Been there many times. Chengdu and Sichuan as a whole is just fun place. Friendly people , great food and of course most beautiful women.
Love this video! Chengdu is so beautiful. I have been twice, would love to go back, but probably won't. People there are incredibly welcoming and happy to meet anyone from USA.

@@CrissaMaguicay I had to have a visa. I don’t think they are letting any US flights direct to China yet. You have to go through Canada.

I m oversea Chinese.....looking at Chengdu Sichuan food same like dish we cook at home....may be my ancestor originate from this place....wish I can be there someday. ..back to my root for sentimental sake
Since you lived in Shenzhen for so long, it would be interesting to hear you talk about city streets of walking around Chengdu vs Shenzhen....like how similar the stores might be, and the open spaces...city design-wise. Of course things like pandas and tea culture make Chengdu very different. But when I view the streets like this from this video, they look so similar to my eyes to streets in other major cities as well...almost interchangeable, and I wonder if you feel that way too, or if you feel like Chengdu or Shenzhen just really does it a whole lot better in some way. (Talking about these main street environments like what you are showing here vs what you might see thats similar in Shenzhen).

nice walk, the streets are so crowded now, seems that life is returning to normal in Chengdu? its a very nice stretch of pedestrian walkway you have covered, it feels really great to walk the city

Already visited china. Very developed clean wide streets except public squat toilets that tend to be easier dirty than sit toilets in public.

China moves so fast now... can't imagine what it must have been like back then. Chengdu changed a ton between my first visit there in 2012 and my most recent visits... incredible.

If you want to see Chengdu, skip to 28:40 because the modern CBD area it's a trap for westerns and rich spoiled Chinese people.
Everything is BLOODY expensive from western brands to Chinese local brands, stay away from that trap!
As a western I didn't see anything interesting because I already got this concrete and lights style shopping malls around me, also I can buy what I want from eBay and Aliexpress at very low rates.
Even electronics were very expensive!
