Im always rooting for UP in UAAP CDC. But, there is something lacking in their routine unlike the previous years. Im looking for the swag and Ummff if you know what i mean.
Guys don't go over the limitations. Kung pep squad ang pag-uusapan, pep squad lang. Kung rally ang pag-uusapan rally lang. If you're not enjoying their performance then don't watch till the end. Yeah it's not bad to give or share our opinions since we live in a democratic country naman but always remember that the attitude on how we talk will definitely define who we are.🙂

To the Outraged UP Fans: Here's an idea... Stop making excuses for UP Pep Squad. Please, just stop. The squad has already shown us their creativity and competitiveness before. Making excuses for them will not help them improve. It only reflects how you don't believe in their talent anymore that they can't get back to the podium, thus, you make excuses to validate their mistakes and shortcomings. That's NOT how you get far in life. Recognize where the squad fell short, and support the team by expressing your strong confidence in their talent to do much much better next year. Whenever you get bloodcurdling comments from other squads' fans, just congratulate them and wish them well. If you truly are a UP fan, act educated and civilized. Don't insult other people's intelligence simply because they favor one squad over another. Some of you often cite, "well, matatalino naman yan, kesa sa ibang squad." You know what's not intelligent? Saying exactly that. Not one institution monopolizes all the intelligent students in the country. Being the #1 University DOES NOT MEAN students from other schools are stupid. Pure nonsense. And frankly, using academic standing in a conversation about cheerdancing is irrational. I could be wrong, but some of you actually made the first shot last year. As the saying goes, "Don't dish it out if you can't take it." Great effort, patience, discipline, passion, and determination always yield even greater results. And that, is how you get far in life.
And lastly excuse is an excuses. How can you even say excuses cannot help them? Actually excuses are meant to have a valid reason why that things doesnt seem be doing well. Again excuses can be very helpful if you defend it right, becasue hindi kc physical yung sinasabihan niya kundi yung isip.

These are just some of the 'excuses' that I am asking the fans to stop making. The beauty about sports is that everyone can be equal through practice, discipline, and determination. The UP Pep Squad has proven before that they have these characteristics, plus creativity and passion. Honestly, it appears to me that they have lost drive, or at least the right direction to competitive cheerdancing. I believe that an isko or iska should never settle for less. The bar should never be lowered down to accommodate anyone. There is no justification for an uninspired routine. Once others make excuses, it could send a wrong message that validates the squad's underwhelming routine. We need to identify and admit what's wrong or lacking, and from there, we'd know what to improve to better the squad. Nakakatawa 'yung mga kuda na "they miss the old UP daw". Katatapos ko lang panoorin lahat ng previous routines ng UP eto naman pala ang pinakamatindi nila lalo na sa stunts. Nag-upgrade lang talaga lahat ng dating mahinang squads in terms of stunts, routine, artistry, etc. at talagang naiwanan lang ang UP Ped Squad. Yung mga dating tinitilian na moves niyo ay wala nang dating at baduy na ngayon. LOL

Hi UP CDC! I hope you know I mean well...Big improvement from last year, but obviously not enough for us to win. The other teams were just quicker and were doing more complex dance steps and routines. baka pwede natin try yun sa Season 82...Know that we continue to support you as you endeavor to bring honor to the entire UP Community from all over the country...next year, yung "Excellence" part naman ha? :)
Excellence will start from the top. Change the leadership. Purge the faculty from Maoist-inclined instructors and hire foreign and new blood of professors... perhaps this change will trickle down to every segment of the system... until it will reach CDC coaching!
Hindi na katulad ng dati ang UP mula nung nawala sila s podium at hindi sumali. I guess mga rookie rin ata ang half sa kanila at hindi pa gaano well executed. I’m choosing NU and FEU sa quality at difficulty.

Bat laging mas maraming girls kesa sa boys. 13 ang girls while 12 ang boys. Siguro pag mas madami ang boys mas may chance na maganda ang routine kasi more flyers ang pwedeng ilift at mas malakas ang foundation. Mas talented ang girls ng up kesa boys. The UP-UST rivalry era was the time when UAAP CDC was most popular. Accept it or not, nung ibang school na ang nasa podium finish, ang hirap na i-market ng CDC at mas mababa ang attendance. Kumusta naman ang big drop sa prize this year dahil hikahos sa sponsor.

Hello. I think okay lng naman yung stunts sa tumblings lng nag fail. Kitang kita kc na puro stunts, dance, tosses at pyramids yung ginawa nilang maganda.
They're working to be better. This batch is composed mostly of rookies. Plus the fact that the way UP recruits is not the same way as other schools like NU who would be scouting and hoarding the best high school cheerleaders and gymnasts across the country to maintain a pool of members with maturity skill-wise.

UP is working to improve the team. Bear in mind that this squad recruits members with zero to minimal cheerleading skills, so it would take years for them to mature skill wise. Whereas in other schools like NU, by the time they get to the squad, they only need polishing.

Wala sa school ang basehan nasa tao. Hindi lahat ng UP grad maganda ang trabaho o may trabaho. Maaaring lagi sila ang nasa top school sa mga survey pero hindi lahat ng pinoy na mahusay ay nagaral sa UP.

I always believe na discipline is d most important ingredient sa pag aim ng champ, that if UP wants to beat NU. But still nice job UP. 😊😊😊

Excellence will start from the top. Change the leadership. Purge the faculty from Maoist-inclined instructors and hire foreign and new blood of professors... perhaps this change will trickle down to every segment of the system... until it will reach CDC coaching!

Hello. I think okay lng naman yung stunts sa tumblings lng nag fail. Kitang kita kc na puro stunts, dance, tosses at pyramids yung ginawa nilang maganda.
They're working to be better. This batch is composed mostly of rookies. Plus the fact that the way UP recruits is not the same way as other schools like NU who would be scouting and hoarding the best high school cheerleaders and gymnasts across the country to maintain a pool of members with maturity skill-wise.

UP is working to improve the team. Bear in mind that this squad recruits members with zero to minimal cheerleading skills, so it would take years for them to mature skill wise. Whereas in other schools like NU, by the time they get to the squad, they only need polishing.

Wala sa school ang basehan nasa tao. Hindi lahat ng UP grad maganda ang trabaho o may trabaho. Maaaring lagi sila ang nasa top school sa mga survey pero hindi lahat ng pinoy na mahusay ay nagaral sa UP.
