- Hey, hey dear friends! Today was a fun day for Splatoon 2 fans, a whole bunch of new weapons got released. \(^o^)/ Which was your favourite?
As you might know---I'm a big Roller en-thu-siast! So I was very excited about testing the new Kensa Splat Roller, both for turf wars and ranked mode. :)
You might wonder how I like it, and if I prefer it over the regular Splat/Hero Roller? I would say it's about equal in terms of weapon strength; the Splat Bomb is one of the absolute best sub weapons and the Bubble Blower is great for both offence and defence.
The Bubble Blower is not a special weapon I have used a whole lot in the past, so I'm somewhat of a live question mark sometimes, wondering whether I used it correctly or not. x*) Many times in this video I used the Bubbles wrongfully, without teammates around for a proper push, or with opponents right behind me.
I will try to take these things into account for the next time I play, I promise! ´x*D

My teammates: the biggest dumbasses who can’t afford to help at all
My teammates: some guy named Jeff inking the wall, the camping roller that dies all the time, and Finally, charger noob missing every single shot.
AzurexAqua _ don’t forget that sploosh guy that appear in some matches and then immediately disconnect
The carbon roller who rushes to the enemy base to camp in the first 10 seconds. The dualies who rush to the center and doesn’t ink the spawn even though all the teammates weapons aren’t inking ones. The sploosh who disconnects. And finally the charger who gets 3 kills

First of all, I've been testing out the Kensa Splattershot. Missiles from everyone or most people is pure scary. Nice to see a roller with bubbles, and the splat bomb really helps from the Kensa Splat Roller. Special Power Up is your best bet. Judgement is so challenging on when to perform a move correctly.
Secondly, I was also doing Clam Blitz (the recovery attempt), but not this rotation as I didn't get to play much of it (was doing important stuff).
As for your session: Wish I had that kind of luck. and you did a fine job out there. As for Salmon Run, legendary as always.

Indeed, I should've used my Splat Bomb more often when trying to pop my Bubs. ´xD Do you think Object Shredder helps the Kensa Splat Roller in that regard?
I wish you lots of luck in your upcoming recovery attempt for Clam Blitz :) Just try to play with a positive mindset, and if that fails, take a small break... eat something, read something---just to make your mind calm and focused again. (^-^)d
Thank you! Salmon Run has been going very well lately, I don't know if the devs changed something, but I'm reaching higher levels easier than before :D
Sofie :3 When new weapons are released, it may change the meta in some ways. At least I enjoy the Kensa Splattershot more than the N-Zap '89. Object Shredder helps to take out bubbles and the rainmaker shield slightly more easily.
Thanks. Fortunately I did recover almost everything I lost in Clam Blitz. Rainmaker on the other hand was a meltdown, but Towers was a slight improvement. I find it so hard to play with a positive mindset when things never work out, even when I want to keep trying. Then again, it's very common for me to perform skill-less (from my perspective). I usually play one mode, and then finish for the most part.
I think you're just naturally good and lucky. Then again, the update made certain things easier (i.e. grillers giving 5 eggs instead of 3, and any disconnections make you lose half the points). I'm just happy having 400/999

You're playing so fast it's hard to follow for a low ranked player like myself sometimes.
Clam Blitz at Rank X looks pretty sweet, when everybody has a basic understanding of how to win this mode it seems like one of the most fun.
Nice how you could survive being sandwiched at 8:44 for so long, and even taking one opponent out in the end

Yep, Clam Blitz is a very rewarding game when you play in a solid team... CB always keep you on your toes! And getting K.O.s is especially sweet as it's pretty uncommon; not like in Splat Zones where K.O.s happen regularly 🙌🏻

You’re amazing at splatoon! And yeah the kensa weapons are great, I only have the kensa splattershot so I’m going to try out the others when I have some more coins

Hey Sofie, indeed it sure was a fun day for you and the teammates. My favorite kensa weapon is the kensa splatterscope and the splat dualues.
So, I prefer you stay with the splat roller, I just want you to keep using it, but for me, I should stick with the kensa splatterscope and the kensa splat dualies. Sometimes I use the kensa splattershot, but I did have problems with the weapon.
By the way, the Nintendo switch online is set to start Tuesday, I decided to do 1-year membership, just so I can continue playing with you and the others. By the way, you didn't reply my comment from the last video you uploaded.
Well, we'll play in the future, and if your available or not, I can continue my live streaming. I'll upload a live stream video of me taking my kensa splatterscope and the kensa splat dualies a try. Don't forget, I got 30 subscribers. Continue supporting me as I get to my new goal: 40 subscribers.

Oy vey, I tried the Kensa Splatterscope (and its non-scoped variant) and I had a really rough time...! The Baller seems a little misplaced with a Charger, or what do you think? You're much more well-versed with Chargers than I am. 😊;;
Oh, you think I should continue using my Hero Roller? Well, I will probably still use it more often than the Kensa Splat Roller, but I will try to use both; just for different ranked modes/maps. :D The Kensa Splat Roller is probably better for Splat Zones, for example! ^-^

Many, many times :D Probably between 60-100 times! I sometimes play with a group of Salmon Runners who have a high score too, meaning we almost always play HLM. Very hectic but lots of fun too ^o^

Thanks, Pig Gamer! Yes, I like the Kensa Splat Roller especially :D I tried the Chargers, but they weren't my cup of tea... Might get more fun with some practice though ^.^ The Kensa Splat Dualies are cool (but the Baller is hard to use well, imho) and the Splattershot has a quite nice kit---I'm actually one of those who enjoy Tentamissiles! xD
I would've preferred more colourful weapons myself, but I fully understand those who enjoy a classic black & white style 😊
Yeah it's looks kinda cool but I would have preferred real new weapons not just existing ones with a different load out! I still like them though

Time for a silly question. In Europe, don't they write the date as 14/9/2018 for September 14th? Is there a particular reason why you write the date as 2018-9-14?

Anyway, you shouldn't follow my gameplay too much when it comes to this video. I used my Bubble Blower very wrongfully, it should mainly be used in pushes and defensive situations. I used it willy-nilly half of the time, haha x*D
Anyhoodles, it's my recording program which sets the date like that and personally I prefer how it looks. I think we often wrote dates like that in school too :D Just looks right to me!

Good question! I usually try to join a new lobby after every match; even when I really enjoyed playing with the squids I just had a match with. I'm not quite sure why I do that now that I think about it. %D

Oh, you mean the sudden skip/glitch in the video? Sadly I think my laptop can't handle the Elgato Capture Device all that well (especially when I record longer videos), so some visual glitches happen every now and then. ´;o

Sure, if I could just give you one tip... I'd say---take control of the middle of the map and work from there! As soon as the opponents have taken over mid it's very hard to push forward. :o

You mean the Bubble Blower? I think it can be a very good special, but it's not easy to use efficiently ^.^;; You have to have good timing and awareness!
