Just seems like there’s more steps involved, and possibly more crimes/charges since by involving the post office wouldn’t that be it’s own crime?
Yeah, Interstate Drug Trafficking is still very much illegal in many states, and Uncle Sam definitely doesn't like it when you use the US postal system to facilitate it. 📫🚔🤦♀️
That OP knew about it kinda puts her in the same category...she just didn't mind when she was in the relationship and benefiting with whatever she was getting from the relationship.
the fact that weed is still debated about being illegal in this country is sad. It just needs to be 50 state legal already, the tax revenue from it is disgusting like 200k a day to the bank disgusting from one store.
That fourth story is weak af. Petty revenge at best, a total waste of time at worst. That guy lived in your head rent-free for TWO DECADES, and in the end, he doesn't even know or care who you are. Was it worth it, OP?
Companies that bid for contracts create proposals all throughout the year. I’m sure it stung a small amount but they really don’t care. They probably submit 100 proposals a year in hopes of landing 1 of them. So rejection is pretty much an everyday thing. I’ve worked in that business.
100% all sympathy to first op for having to deal with all that mess, however she shouldn't have been surprised by the criminal record. Maybe some of the details like the r charge but definitely not the drugs and fraud, he was literally breaking the law as his job while they were dating. Buying drugs where it's legal and then selling them where it's not legal... is illegal. I'm not blaming her for anything but that alone should have been a big enough red flag to not get involved with him in the first place.
The only thing that bothers me about that story is how contraproductive some of it was. Which has more to do with the law in the USA, but still. Like, if you take away someone's license and they need a license to get a job... how will they pay child support to get the license back? Same with the criminal record. How is someone supposed to pay child support, the thing they are being jailed for, when they can't get a job. The guy was/is trash, but it still doesn't make much sense to me.
@Ikajo You don't need a license specifically, just 2 forms of ID. Yes licenses are a common choice but not a requirement, a copy of your birth certificate and a Social Security card are just as acceptable. Lots of people that live in the big cities don't have licenses and just use public transit, even a bus or subway pass is acceptable ID, kids old enough to work but don't have a license yet use student IDs. Whoever told you that you specifically need a license lied to you unless you live outside the US and the law is different.
Also he's going to jail, jail work doesn't require ID because they have his info already. The employment he'll have within jail will go towards the child support.
@@RiveroftheWither I mean driving licence. You need one to drive and many jobs require a licence. I'm not in the USA but even then, losing your drivers licence would make things harder.
It's really common in the UK for people to buy a junk car that still runs and then just drive it especially when they don't have a licence or a diving ban. If they get pulled over, the police just give them a fixed penalty notice and seize the car. The person walks off and by the end of the week, they'll have another junker. I'm surprised the car was allowed to stay on that spot for a year.
Yes, in many states in the U.S., a car wont be allowed to sit on the street if its not in derivable condition. It gets tagged and will eventually be towed by the local township. Can also happen if it is driveable but has no tags or its registration is expired.

I've been dealing with some landlords that do some really shady stuff lately. My last landlord is trying to double dip after he got last month's rent by saying you messed up the lawn and that we didn't water it When he specifically told us NOT to leave water running, which includes using the sprinkler. And he lives 20 hours away, some landlord... Don't let them try to take your money without a fight
Bidding on projects is a normal business expense in quite a few fields...not getting the contract isn't much of a disappointment. Nice thought though that they wouldn't sleep about it.
first one: should have dropped a dime to the DEA and USPAPostal Inspectors and nailed them for federal drug trafficking violations- even if it’s legal in states, it’s illegal to send that stuff through the mail and across state lines
MOT isn't insurance it's a legal certificate, given after a standardised test on a vehicle yearly by a licensed mechanic and issued by The Ministry of Transport. It's to say that the vehicle is safe to drive on UK roads and it's extremely illegal for someone driving a vehicle without one. Meaning they could get heavy fines, a ban from driving for a set amount of time and/or Jail time.

Had something similar happen to me in edmonton: we rented a place that offered free internet. They tried to change it in the middle of our lease, I told them good luck charging me when the lease agreement says otherwise. We didn't pay the extra they tried to charge
Late comment.... however as someone who bids construction jobs on a weekly basis (small crew not a huge need for tonnes of work) getting your bid rejected is never a downside. Honestly what happens a lot of the time is the other contractors will underbid and tack huge parts of the job on as over priced extras at time and materials. And in Canada all bids are within public access and you can see all the opposing bids. General contractors don't fully read the bids before they sign them as the winner. This often leads to all the missing parts of the quote being re-tendered and other companies taking over. It's actually quite common for different companies doing the final or install than the ones who did the rough in
Just a note to say an MOT is not insurance. It is a mechanical certification that your car meets the required standards to be driven on the roads. You cannot get insurance without this MOT.
Wow for a second I almost thought this was a friend of mine. Her ex has 3 kids, 2 are hers. He basically ignores her youngest, choked her son (cps didnt do anything) He’s almost 30k in debt in child support, works under the table/job hops to prevent paying and even tried to get the child support lowered because he “doesn’t make enough” yet is buying brand new trucks and things like that. Despite that he had the balls to take her to court after she gave him 1 year notice she was altering the care schedule and moving out of state 4 hours away because he wouldn’t have them Wednesday’s and then would have to meet her halfway when he has them. His reason was it would be emotionally traumatizing to uproot them. People like this need real consequences, and I feel like the systems are way to easy to cheat. Good on this girl.
We have a guy who lives opposite to us who has an ancient car. It’s rusting big style with huge holes in the metal of it. He refuses to scrap it and there is fungi growing inside the car and underneath the car. He also has 3 cars on our very small street and 2 of them don’t work - there’s hardly enough room for the people who live on the street who have one car.
Oh my GOD do I have a story about a scummy landlord. My dad had found a place for rent, with no real estate attached and it was privately rented, and the landlord lives just next door. My dad had been living there for maybe a year or longer, I can't quite remember, but at one point, my dad received his electricity bill and was shocked to see it was a crazy large amount of money, knowing full well he or my sister were using THAT much electricity. So my dad went snooping and found that there was an extension lead coming out the side of my dad place, he couldn't access the area because the landlord had put a fence around it, but my dad had realised that this extension lead had taken him to the landlords home, where it was connected to even more power cables and was powering all of the landlords fish tanks. He had like 10 of them sitting on the patio, no idea if he had more inside. My dad was pissed and had quickly terminated the lease and moved into another property, this time through a real estate.
She saw the red flags in the first story and yet stuck around, probably because he was a 10 in her eyes. And that 12 year relationship was probably a marriage and she divorced him. Yeah, we are only seeing half the story here, even though the dude was messed up. Edit: Yeah, he is going to pay the child support arrears well in jail how?

I love the revenge stories. I'm always uneasy however if the people who got revenge are safe. evil people will get revenge for getting revenged. they may not care about legalities anymore.
@@azuzziken no. Incorrect. Insurance and Mot are completely separate and have no links to each other. Legally you have to have both but you don’t link them.
@@laurenhook3620 I'm not saying they are the same thing. What I mean is, it would be pretty hard to take out CAR insurance on an object that cannot function as a car. If a vehicle doesn't pass the yearly inspection (which we also have in my country) then it's not driveable. I'm in the process of purchasing a car myself and insurance companies will check your plates to see if it's a functional car before even giving you a quote.
@@azuzziken oh, I wasn’t aware you worked in the insurance industry in the UK. I mean I do, but that’s okay! MOT doesn’t have to work with insurance. They don’t intertwine. You can have a car insured but no MOT it’s just not allowed to drive on the road until it’s had an MOT. Insurance doesn’t check MoT
In the last story, and how OP get revenge with the owner of the firm.... who didn't pay OP, for the 16 hours of work OP did. After OP described the revenge, I had an image of OP going in for a hand shake with the owner. And just before the hands make contact, OP's hand goes up to give the owner the finger. Then walks away laughing. And before anyone says how unprofessional that would be, I agree with that statement. And I'm pleased that OP didn't do that.
First story: She must have had a number done to her by that previous relationship. Someone that shady is obvious within a week if not at the first meeting.
That guy from the first video will be just fine. I know two guys who refused to pay support. One only paid full support for one of his two(at the time) kids(different mothers). He was only ordered to pay $100/month/kid $200 total. He just didn't pay for one kid. By the time the kids were 18(so 16 years of support) he owed $21600. He now brags that he doesn't have to pay since the kid is an adult. I don't know if this really true, but Alberta has some pretty stupid rules. The second guy had three kids under 19(BC's legal age) He just works under the table. Every time ,maintenance enforcement tried to get money he would quit/move to another town. He has multiple DUI's and every time the police impound his vehicles and take his license, he just goes back to Alberta to get a new one. He claims they were lost/stolen. Alberta just hands him a new one and he is back on the road to BC. Government is doing nothing to stop him. Even the parole officer helped him get out of trouble, by interviewing one of his victims and then telling him everything that they were told. She nearly got the victim k*lled. The guy in the story will only be stopped once he passes. No one really cares about unpaid child support or "min*r" criminal activity.
First Story: She missed a step, should have notified the guy who was scammed into paying child support for a child that isn't his about the scam...then f*boy would have had to pay him back all that child support and be responsible for a fourth child.
I understand why that manager was so kissed at op. She was clearly sick of the owners carp and was going to use this opportunity to nuke him, and Op ruined it.
I got the guy who cheated on me after 6 years fired because he was cheating with someone at work and I told his boss. I then moved out of the place I knew he couldnt afford on his own, just took my name off the lease and paid the 25 dollar fee. I don't have time for fuck-arounds in my life.
So someone paid 300 pounds and insurance for a year, all for a revenge parking spot? 🤦🏻♀️ I’m all for getting back at some jackass, but that’s a little crazy.
In the state I live in we have what's called Section 42. It's a tax thing, provided by the state not the feds. I pay a small rent according to my income and they can't change it unless the cost of living goes down. So no b.s. from landlords or property management. What a relief!! We also have a program that gives a grant to my utility bills. I ran my a.c. all summer with no electric bill and my gas is $4.
In the last story I miss the moment, where OP lets the owner of the business know, who he is. Sure, he got his revenge, but in the end for the owner it is just another contract he did not get, because another company was fitting better. So nothing to learn for him. Sure, OP could tell the owner of the company, he would not get the contract, but what good is revenge, if the receiver does not know it is revenge for his behavior 20 years ago?
There was no revenge there. OP literally did nothing that could be construed as "revenge", since if the jackass had had the better proposal, jackass would have gotten the contract. There was literally no revenge. Maybe a bit of schadenfreude, but no revenge.
@@jimbobjones9330 - Yes, exactly. So he "worked" with cannabis.
Its own multiple felonies actually.
I love how the UK story is like the exact opposite of the 16th birthday truck story, where the parking spot is public instead of private

Damn I'm about the turn 22 this man kept tabs on that owner for almost my entire life over 16 hours of work that is some dedication.
@@Ikajo Depends on the public transport where you live. Also dude needs better pull out game

My last landlord is trying to double dip after he got last month's rent by saying you messed up the lawn and that we didn't water it
When he specifically told us NOT to leave water running, which includes using the sprinkler.
The "Fine Print" story seems dumb and while Op stuck it to the landlord(?) The "revenge" was lame, but Mr Rslash did a great job making it seem/sound like a much better story than it was.

Story #1 is why you ALWAYS use a fact finding search engine to find out about anyone you are thinking about dating prior to dating.
That first one is more like nuclear revenge imo. OP screwed over a criminal and i think that’s incredible.
Real estate is a pit of filth. Never forget this. Don't be surprised when they pull stunts like this...
On that last one, OP should have gone to whatever wage enforce board there was in his/her country as soon as a job was had.

Story 1 needs an update. I HAVE to know if all that beautiful karma hit him full force, or if he somehow weaseled his way out of it.

At that point, even the poor Ford Fiesta just wanted to be put out of its miserable existence!
I love the revenge stories. I'm always uneasy however if the people who got revenge are safe. evil people will get revenge for getting revenged. they may not care about legalities anymore.
MOT is not insurance fyi. It’s a check to see if your car is safe on the road. You have to have one every year in the UK
Yeah, but I'm pretty sure that they won't insure a car that cannot be driven anywhere, so it's still important.
You can have a car that’s fully MOT’ed but not insured on private property and it doesn’t matter. You can have a car insured but no MOT it’s just not allowed to drive on the road until it’s had an MOT. Insurance doesn’t check MoT

Revenge is revenge. ... victim does not need to know
.
