A side note that she's not the only one. A number of other VAs do this as well, like Hidaka Rina. From what I see, they are usually people who started their career around the same time or being more senior than Matsuoka but yet several years younger than him. So it becomes an addressing conundrum. As culturally, it will seem weird or even somewhat disrespectful to address someone much (5 years or more) older than you with -kun or -chan honorifics, even if they are your junior in your line of work. Of course, distance and familiarity also play a part and it's definitely fair to speculate that there is less distance between Sakura and Matsuoka as compared to before.

Rinamaru almost always uses kun when addressing Tsugutsugu now... She might use san to refer to him when interacting with an event MC but otherwise its mostly kun, I think...
Sakura and him getting closer or more comfortable around each other will be really nice but don't know how much that has come to...
Though, I did feel Sakura seemed a bit milder/kinder with him since around Osamake...

I remember Ayaneru trying to pitch a light novel with Matsuoka as Ōnishi's husband (even though Ōnishi herself preferred Kazuyuki Okitsu or Jun'ichi Suwabe), and herself and Inori Minase as Ōnishi's friends.
Now, she once again has Matsuoka as Ōnishi's husband because he has a mole in the same spot as Keigo Atobe (who, by the way, is voiced by Suwabe).
