Thanks you! I have to edit the videos down but I think I have some good stuff for the next videos. I had some personal stuff happen and had to put the channel on hold, but I’m feeling better and excited to get the channel back on track. Thanks for watching! Scott
4 of silver plated and gold lacquered SBA alto are at the market in south Korea with a price range of 9000 to 10.000 us dollars but i found no serious big difference compared to the Germany made vintage sax. say kohlert 55.57 overhauled by a technician. just a little bit of more resistance to kohlert sax.
This is a good consideration. I have many Conn/King/Martin/Buescher (buy/sell) horns and just recently bought a SBA Alto that is getting new pads. I'm very curious to see if I have a preference for the SBA---I really like Martins.
I love SBAs but there are a lot of great options out there. With Selmer you’re paying for the name and collector value. I’ll still take my Conn over a SBA
Really cool sax
Thanks.
When is Part II to coming out? Love to see how it turned out and if it will be play tested to hear how it sounds? Good stuff!

Thank you!
Scott, what's the price range to get an alto saxophone overhauled?
Something like this will be around $1200 plus the custom resonators.
