      Much respect, for hearing and debating both sides, without the instant-1word namecalling memes, and not listening to the other side like corporate-left news does on every news channel (they erase comments on msnbc and nbc and abc news for sure that dont agree.. also PBS does and we fund that station partially.. for some odd reason its left-hard-lean)

So to see them again now interviewing Joe was the first time in a long time that I've seen three people talking to each other that had no weakness intellectually. Usually one of more in a group conversation is just a step below the others in their opinions or how they are socially. But this was not the case in this video. I really enjoyed this. He is a natural conversationalist with genuine curiosity and love of a diverse swath of humanity. Some pod casters go into full show biz mode complete with "look at me" narcissism. It's cool to be humble, but if a ton of people pay attention to what JR says, they will also be inclined to lend creedence to his guest's fatuous, occasionally harmful itakes, when he (generally)doesn't call them out.

    It can't be underestimated just how skilled Joe Rogan is at podcasting. Imagine inviting on some big celebrity whom you've never met before and being able to hold a casual conversation with them that lasts for hours. That's hard.

    • @brad5611
      @brad5611 3 года назад +17

      100% you said this perfectly. Regardless of opinion if you like his views or don't, Joe knows how to have a casual conversation with anyone and the success of his podcast reflects that.

      All while making this person comfortable. Very few celebs actually talk as themselves, it's usually your typical PR responses and this is the opposite.

    I think Joe Rogan has a rare combination of ‘alpha male’ leadership coupled with very limited ego. He’s also seemingly fairly centric in his political views and has a genuine depth of interest in the world around him. He’s not trying to sell anything, he’s not trying to further his own status. If he has a guest in to talk about space, he talks about space and he clearly tries to absorbs as much experience and knowledge from his guest as he can.
