I'm an artist, I think Yoohyeon actually has a natural eye for composition. That is, she prepared the landscape in such a way to use the space to her advantage. She also was decent at balancing colors, even though it was a bit vivid. I think what threw her off was technique. She knew what she wanted to do, but didn't know how to do it. I say this because she's obviously thinking about depth when making her mountains and sky, but when it came to the foreground she was unsure how to blend it naturally. For Jiu she was inspired by the gallery beforehand and just went in with feeling. She limited herself to a color scheme which probably saved her some time, but also demonstrated her blending skills. She was going for more of a texture abstract instead of realism, which I think was what made her win in the end. I think she definitely showed more technique, given she'd painted before. The way she layered her painting showed me that she knew how to work backwards. Too bad they only had 30 minutes. The funny thing is that I think their painting approaches actually reflects who they are as people. Jiu is instinctual, goes with the flow, and is up for improvisation, while Yoohyeon had to plan things out and stick with it. Both are good habits to have in art, to be honest, and I think the two of them actually have a knack for it.

[#CECI] First, I want to thank CéCi for the wonderful opportunity they gave to JiU and Yoohyeon: being able to enjoy the beautiful country of Thailand. I've been enjoying the videos about the girls' amazing time there and am excited to see how the photobook portrays Thailand's and Dreamcatcher's beauty. I will definitely be buying a copy! (Or two... Or three...) There are so many Insomnia, and I know I'm one of many who would love a present from JiU or Yoohyeon. All I can say is that I love Dreamcatcher so much because before them, I had no passion for music. However, thanks to Dreamcatcher, I was finally able to love music. It was the first time it could make me smile, laugh, and even cry. Through their music, I was able to see more love in the world. It's my hobby loaded with love! Dreamcatcher made a difference in my life not only through their music, but also through the love they are constantly showing Insomnia. I would love to receive JiU and Yoohyeon's love through their gorgeous paintings. In fact, so much love was put into it that it caused Yoohyeon forget what 99-77 was 😂It would mean the world to me to receive their precious masterpieces so that I can wake up to it every morning and be reminded that there is a lot of love in the world. Great painting from JiU and Yoohyeon, and the instructor is sweet and helpful. I took art in high school for 3 years, and this episode made me miss it. It’s never too late to learn how to paint, and it really therapeutic. I’m glad Insomnias get to see JiU and Yoohyeon showcase their talent ❤

It was more than interesting to see them paint in this setting, they both are people who will try anything that seems interesting to them and to be honest, this is very fun and cool to watch. Not everyone can have the patience to paint even if it's not coming out to be exactly like the picture you want to recreate, but they have not only that but also the ability to concentrate while they're being asked very random questions!! So this was extremely fun. Finding out that both Jiu and Yoohyeon had done this with CECI was a surprise to many of us and seeing all the content that's going to come out from this is definitely exciting! They are very beautiful and are fabulous singers and dancers, but my favorite thing about them is how caring and respectful they are to each other and their fans. i love art and i love dreamcatcher so seeing them paint like this was really wonderful. i like how impressionist jiu’s painting is and yoohyeon did such a nice and soft landscape with really good sense of scale and did so well despite the short amount of time. i’m glad they had so much fun and did so many things while in thailand!

#CECI painting is such a healing activity, this reminds me of back in college during exam times when our dorm buildings would set up art stations in the general living space for any student to come down and unwind and color or paint. Jiu's go with the flow style was really reminiscent of how I would approach my paintings, but I also really admire Yoohyeon's attention to detail and waking to do the line art first, I never thought of doing that before!

I'm an artist, I think Yoohyeon actually has a natural eye for composition. That is, she prepared the landscape in such a way to use the space to her advantage. She also was decent at balancing colors, even though it was a bit vivid. I think what threw her off was technique. She knew what she wanted to do, but didn't know how to do it. I say this because she's obviously thinking about depth when making her mountains and sky, but when it came to the foreground she was unsure how to blend it naturally. For Jiu she was inspired by the gallery beforehand and just went in with feeling. She limited herself to a color scheme which probably saved her some time, but also demonstrated her blending skills. She was going for more of a texture abstract instead of realism, which I think was what made her win in the end. I think she definitely showed more technique, given she'd painted before. The way she layered her painting showed me that she knew how to work backwards. Too bad they only had 30 minutes. The funny thing is that I think their painting approaches actually reflects who they are as people. Jiu is instinctual, goes with the flow, and is up for improvisation, while Yoohyeon had to plan things out and stick with it. Both are good habits to have in art, to be honest, and I think the two of them actually have a knack for it.
For a first time painting, Yoohyeon’s was really good.
But yeah, Jiu’s was legitimately a good painting.
Yoohyeon's was extremely impressive considering she hasn't painted much before!

[#CECI] First, I want to thank CéCi for the wonderful opportunity they gave to JiU and Yoohyeon: being able to enjoy the beautiful country of Thailand. I've been enjoying the videos about the girls' amazing time there and am excited to see how the photobook portrays Thailand's and Dreamcatcher's beauty. I will definitely be buying a copy! (Or two... Or three...)
There are so many Insomnia, and I know I'm one of many who would love a present from JiU or Yoohyeon. All I can say is that I love Dreamcatcher so much because before them, I had no passion for music. However, thanks to Dreamcatcher, I was finally able to love music. It was the first time it could make me smile, laugh, and even cry. Through their music, I was able to see more love in the world. It's my hobby loaded with love! Dreamcatcher made a difference in my life not only through their music, but also through the love they are constantly showing Insomnia.
I would love to receive JiU and Yoohyeon's love through their gorgeous paintings. In fact, so much love was put into it that it caused Yoohyeon forget what 99-77 was 😂It would mean the world to me to receive their precious masterpieces so that I can wake up to it every morning and be reminded that there is a lot of love in the world. Also, the daytime landscape painting would look great next to the night acrylic painting I made!
I also appreciate CéCi for the content you create. Through your work, our favorite idols are able to be happy and heal themselves in beautiful places with relaxing activities. We also can learn more about our idols! I wish for your success and will continue supporting!

Great painting from JiU and Yoohyeon, and the instructor is sweet and helpful. I took art in high school for 3 years, and this episode made me miss it. It’s never too late to learn how to paint, and it really therapeutic. I’m glad Insomnias get to see JiU and Yoohyeon showcase their talent ❤

#CECI This was such a fun video!! I really cannot wait to see what they're going to do next. It was more than interesting to see them paint in this setting, they both are people who will try anything that seems interesting to them and to be honest, this is very fun and cool to watch. Not everyone can have the patience to paint even if it's not coming out to be exactly like the picture you want to recreate, but they have not only that but also the ability to concentrate while they're being asked very random questions!! So this was extremely fun.
Finding out that both Jiu and Yoohyeon had done this with CECI was a surprise to many of us and seeing all the content that's going to come out from this is definitely exciting! i love art and i love dreamcatcher so seeing them paint like this was really wonderful. i like how impressionist jiu’s painting is and yoohyeon did such a nice and soft landscape with really good sense of scale and did so well despite the short amount of time. i’m glad they had so much fun and did so many things while in thailand!

I actually love the art pieces they created, Yooh made something very detailed and true to the example, but Jiu made her own interpretation which turned out incredible aswell. I have always wanted to visit Thailand in the future, so I was really looking forward to it when I heard it was being filmed in Pattaya! I really enjoyed watching this episode, the unique content is really interesting, and I love seeing different sides of the members. I was really amazed at how good they are at painting, especially with the 30min time limit lol.
I was excited to hear that you will be giving away the paintings, and as a huge fan of Dreamcatcher, it would be so amazing if I could hang one of their paintings up! I really love the meaning they both put behind it, especially with yoohyeon's painting because she really does have the biggest heart ☺ I also love the textured spin JiU put on hers, just looking at the different shades of purple gives me a great sense of peace.

Jiu thinking the winning prize would be a golden elephant had me cracking up along with Yoohyeon mention Jiu should be hung up with the other pieces of artwork since she is a work of art lol. There were so many moments in this episode I liked. Thanks Ceci for taking the time and effort into creating this wonderful content and for putting together a photobook. I am really looking forward to the photobook and more episodes. Much appreciation for doing all this.

[#CECI] Thank you for these fun videos with the members. They really help get to know the members personalities even more. I thought they both did a great job with so little time and distractions. Jiu's painting is very pretty and bright and Yoohyeon's reminds me of where I live near the mountains. If I were to win this would probably be the first thing I hang on the wall of my house. I'm looking forward to the photobook too

I absolutely adore Jiu and Yoohyeon, and love their personalities just in general :) Funny enough I had bought a home few months ago for myself, and my walls are completely blank! As an InSomnia for a few years now, and recently got to see them in concert, the paintings would be a perfect gift to receive this year

[#CECI] The way Yoohyeon confidently answers the math question absolutely wrong but immediately and JiU calculates it carefully, haha. Gotta love the contrast. They did great for limited time and did well! Looking forward to more of what CeCi Korea does with them for this shoot - the stuff they've been doing so far is different than the usual variety things and is entertaining.

#CECI painting is such a healing activity, this reminds me of back in college during exam times when our dorm buildings would set up art stations in the general living space for any student to come down and unwind and color or paint. Jiu's go with the flow style was really reminiscent of how I would approach my paintings, but I also really admire Yoohyeon's attention to detail and waking to do the line art first, I never thought of doing that before!

Painting is definitely a great way to relieve some stress, so I'm glad they had this opportunity. Looks like they had a great time in Thailand. I have paintings my friends gave to me, so I'd love to put up JiU's or Yoohyeon's as well 🥺. I'll be saving up money for that photobook!
