Hey Chris I’m a Patreon who really appreciates your hard work. With your help I’m slowly achieving the skills I need to reach the point I want to be at. Thank you and best wishes.
Awesome lesson dude. Thank you so much. Just to mention: there's an isolated track of Mr. Crowley (only guitar) uploaded on RUclips, which has the complete ending of Randy's 2nd solo without fading. It's not much more than the album version but it's awesome anyways. The video is titled "Randy Rhoads - ''Mr. Crowley'' - Guitar Only." uploaded on November 7th, 2011.
Hey chris you're officially my go to channel to learn guitar solo. I've learned two solo so far and I really like your vids. Thanks a lot man. It is a lot easier to learn from you compare to other youtuber. Seriously thanks a lot man
Hey dude. Long time sub, I absolutely love your vids man. Every time I want to learn a solo, I look to see if you've made a video on the song and most of the time you have. Really appreciate all the hard work!
Hey! Chris, your older version of this lesson had a more detailed scale run near the last section, right before the bend, and the run after the downhill nonsense shred part. There are two spots on this version that you end early,it sounds like a hesitation, but I've watched you play through it before smoothly. Anyway, thank you for the fun lessons.
FFS working through this and I hit 17:36 and my left hand just goes into complete disorganization trying to do these types of chromatic things. My hand will accept all the other stuff. Am I alone in this?
For anybody that hit this and their left hand just tapped out, I have a pointer. I still can't play it up to speed, but I can play it cleanly by "driving" the lick with the middle and ring fingers and ignoring my index finger, just letting it be "pushed" along by the other two. If I concentrate on the index finger or let it lead, the other two will not fall in place and it just scrambles. That might be common knowledge for most but it took concerted focus on my leading fingers to do this chromatic run.
CHRIS ZOUPA, can you make a video explaining how randy rhoads used MODES? the band LA guns has a song called "sticky fingers" which the solo sounds like randy rhoads can you show how to play this guitar solo by LA guns sticky fingers?
That's because he is WRONG about it being a "Nonsense Shred Run". It certainly DOES make sense in relation to the Key of D minor! Only a couple of notes out of key, but it isn't a "Chromatic Run".
Tabs:
4:48 - section 1
9:15 - section 2
15:11 - section 3
20:49 - section 4
Man i regret not practicing. Use to follow almost all your vids until like 4 years ago. Work really does get in the way
That shit is insane, what a great player he was, so young and gone too soon.

Pt 1?
Hey Chris I thought you already posted this lesson?
He did lol I learned it last week
@@vwjunkie62 ahahah i learned it yesterday from Chris
oh my god thank you for telling me to start on the up pick for the first lick that minimizes movement so much better
Chris is the type of guy who could drunk and fell from the stairs, yet still play guitar way better than most dudes fully conscious.
Just got a new guitar in the mail, I guess I know what I have to now.
I'm not surprised. I had to come to Zoupa to learn it correctly
I learned it! But when I tried to play it I realized that I need to speed it up by 1000x. So frikin fast 😢
Hope you come back one day Bro, I know it must be boring as fuck teaching us though when you just wanna set the frets on fire.
Rev,
The shredded run at the end doesn't sound like the original.
