Hi Lee I enjoy your vids I’ve got a 1980 z750e and the sprag clutch is going on it I seem to remember back in the day somebody said you could fix it by going through the sump have you ever done it my hands are the size of shovels I can’t imagine it being easy takecare mate by the way the bikes only done 22000 miles abit disappointing
Yes it can be done, not done it myself. There is a channel called 'One Garage Guy' who has an hour plus vid on how to replace the sprag clutch on a Z650, which is essentially same as a Z750.
Its called an external ceramic coating, done by a company called CAMCOAT.. www.camcoat.com Its a very hardwearing coating, but thinner than powder coating, so it does not cover the imperfections in the castings as well as powder coating.
