Thank you for your video! It was really interesting. I think I noticed that when you use the article "the", the vowel can sound either more similar to a e like in red (perhaps?) or to a e like in be (perhaps?). Would you be so kind as to confirm if I'm hearing it right and what's the rule to follow if that's the case?
My mother in law is so lonely she always tend to witter on every subject that not related to her knowledge. Sometimes while i am washing dishes listen to english podcast cause i want to whittle my schedule

The e in the is extended into "Thee" (like Me) if the following word begins with a vowel sound.
