You are a great teacher to learn from and Weaver made a very successful addition bringing you in. Think I'll go make something amazing!

Here's an online hug from a lady in Calgary, Daniel 😸 Great video. Doesn't look too tough at all, compared to taking apart a carburetor lol.

😁 Hugs back! Yeah, if you can take a carburetor apart, this'll be a piece of cake!

Thanks for your videos. Up until about 15 yrs. ago I thought the only colors that should be put on leather were shades of brown or black, although I still love the look of natural veg tan and leather glow I do like some items with some color. Keep the videos coming, your work is amazing and you can teach old dogs new tricks.

Here's your (non-weird) hug! Daniel, I like all your videos, but this one was especially helpful and very practical. Thank you!!

Thanks, so many videos assume you know everything about disassembling and re-assembling an airbrush already! really really helpful!

Thanks so much for this, I never knew how many oart there are to a air brush. Now that I think about it I have most likely ruined mine.

Daniel, what do you clean the airbrush with if I’m using Feibing’s Pro Dye?
    Best regards,
    Richard

Just got into airbrushing a few month ago, I usually use acetone or denatured alcohol to clean mine, never got it that dirty yet, but is that ok? I've always wondered if long term it might damage the airbrush?

Great question. I've used both to clean it in the past. My biggest concern is breathing the fumes. I wouldn't spray either of them through the airbrush. I also wouldn't soak it in either. I'd be worried about the seals and such. If you're just using it to clean the bowl out good, your should be fine, but I wouldn't spray it through the airbrush.
      Great question.

@@DanielReachCreations Thanks for the insights! For now I'm pretty thorough and clean it right after, so it goes pretty quick, the bowl, the needle and tip and that's it. I spray it through the airbrush but with a mask, so hopefully that's fine! My biggest concern was regarding the seals, so we'll see in the long run but as you've said, should be fine then if I'm just doing a quick clean. I'll look into buying a airbrush cleaner as I probably will using it more and more, and start taking care of it less and less... Thanks for the videos, always great information! Keep them coming :) If you have any tips on more precise work for a next one, like belts for example, or wallets, where background and floral space is pretty tight... Or maybe the only answer is practice^^ I'll keep at it anyway! Take care!

I used some regular 50% alcohol in my airbrushes paint bottle to spray that through my gun and then ran water through it after I wiped everything dry and clean with water in the sink. Is that good enough? I was using fiebings pro dye through the gun in straight non watered down form with lots of ventilation and a fan going in my shop. Is there anything about that process I might improve or didn’t do right? I didn’t take the gun right apart but it was spraying clean fluid and then I removed the bottle and let it spray til it was just shooting air and no water before I called it good.

you can leave paint in the airbrush and nothing bad will happen. Air dries the paint , they do not self dry..
