After that, Shadow has to go to the Stone Grove, where he fights Ghosts created by the Ancient One and the Ancient one himself so he can see how good Shadow is. After that, Shroud raids the hideout and Shadow has to take him down, and here May is revealed as one of Titan’s workers. After that, Shadow has to fight Scavengers and more Ghosts, and then enter Titan’s Citadel so that he can take down Titan’s 5 bodyguards, May, and then Titan. Here the story finally ends. ==============STORYLINE ENDS HERE============== So what’s the verdict? Well, Shadow Fight 2’s timeline is VERY repetitive - you’ll notice that a lot of the time Shadow has to fight in tournaments or challenge arenas. In total, Shadow has to fight through 648 (not counting Eclipse stages) tournament or challenge stages. In a movie, repetitiveness is almost never a good thing, because it gets boring. And don’t forget, Shadow is pure black, and that may bring up racism problems by extremists. (It’s not a big deal, though.) Also, there are some potholes in the story. Some of them are: -Shadows in real life have to stick to walls; they cannot stand up by themselves. Thus, Shadow isn’t really a Shadow, just an ebony guy who defies physics. -The tournament people did nothing wrong to Shadow, yet he fights them anyway. Same for the challenge people and Ninjas. -The people Shadow fights are getting hit (often in the HEAD) with VERY deadly weapons (such as katanas, giant maces, Time Bombs, poisoning, even bleeding to death). Yet when Shadow kills them, they come back to life; you can see them lying on the ground, catching their breath and nursing their wounds. This bring up several questions: how do these humans survive this? Are they demons or “Shadows” too? If they are shadows, then why does Titan say Shadow was the only one with Shadow energy? And if the people are demons, then that means Cypher and the Ancient One are demons too. Shadow hits them around with axes, claws with electricity, and sometimes poisoning or bombs, yet we see that the two are okay. -If you look at several characters, you’ll notice that what they’re wearing are VERY inappropriate. Look at Velvet; all she wears is a bikini. Same for Arrow, Pandemia, etc. You can find a lot more, too. -Some of the characters (especially Velvet, Wasp, and the Ancient One) wear no armor, yet they have more health than Shadow, who does wear armor (usually). -The dialogue in the game has several typos (and I mean quite a few, especially when most games only have one or two typos). One of these typos are Emperor’s quotes, "You're meek, Shadow. People left to their own will shall soon destroy the State. And you are the quintessence of everything that I hate about commoners!”) This can be fixed in the movie, however. -Also, notice that in the above quote, State is capitalized. What is this State? California? -In the beginning, Shadows says he discovered the Gates of Shadows. But notice how someone else named the gates the Gates of Shadows; Shadow never says he named it the Gates of Shadows. That means that someone else found it before he did, and thus Shadow never truly discovered the Gates of Shadows. -Shadow can duel people. However, if he duels people and loses, then they give him another chance instead of claiming victory. A real-life duel usually doesn’t go like this. -Shadow gains a decent amount of money if he wins a tournament battle. It is safe to assume that this money is paid by the loser. However, if Shadow loses the battle, he pays nothing. WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN? (Okay, I understand it’s okay in the game because this makes the game too hard. But how will you realistically present this in the movie?) -If Shadows loses a battle, then he still gains money for some reason. -The game requires some grinding (especially in Act VI: Iron Reign) to progress. In the movie, this can be very repetitive and boring. -Shadow, in the Interlude, has to fight the demons again to break their seals. However, in the beginning cutscene when you first open the game, when Shadow first opens the Gates of Shadows, he never has to fight demons; he just opens it with no problem. -When you defeat Widow’s bodyguards in Act V: The Greatest Temptation, the bodyguards (except for Puma) seem to be released from their spell and no longer serve Widow. However, in the Interlude, Widow gets her bodyguards back for some strange reason. -When you defeat Crane (Hermit’s last bodyguard) in Act II: Secret Path, Crane is revealed to have realized why it’s wrong to go to Hermit. However, in the Interlude, Crane is once again working for Hermit. -In Act III: Trail of Blood, Redhead says that Butcher killed Bull’s parents when Bull was a baby. But how did Redhead find out? Butcher kept it a secret from everyone else. (If Butcher didn’t, and everyone knows, then why didn’t they tell Bull?) -In Act IV: Pirate Throne, Wasp’s first three bodyguards are in fact rebels in a group called New Blood. However, if they’re rebels, WHY DO THEY WORK FOR WASP? -In Act VI: Iron Reign, some of Shogun’s bodyguards seem to be glad their Prince has returned. If this is the case, then why do they work for Shogun when they clearly like the Prince more? They should have joined Shadow when Shadow defeated Shogun. I could list more, but that’s some storyline errors that I found. I am aware that a few of these errors are kind of skewed. I'm sorry, I wrote this kind of rushed. The storyline is too long, VERY repetitive, and has a lot of storyline errors. I don’t think it’ll make a good movie.
