- Founded in 1979 by retired president Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi, Moi high school Kabarak marks its 4oth anniversary tomorrow. True to its motto: “on earth, we rise”, the school boasts a star-studded list of former students. One of them is none other than Kenya's director of public prosecutions, Noordin hajji. He shared his reflections of the school with our features editor, Sharon Momanyi, who, fun fact, is also an alumna of the school.
