They are dropping new single with Charlie Puth 10 May 💚 Stray Kids' music is generally K-pop, hip hop, electronic, and rock. The group labelled their music genre as "Stray Kids genre" themselves. Assuming because they do everything lol. That was genuinely Hyunjin btw 🤗
K-pop itself isnt a genre per se, it does have multiple genres of music inside of the scene. Im just saying this to no future enforce the misconception that creates hesitation for people to try it :)
I hear the Linkin Park influences as well! I'm a big early 2000s pop punk alt fan (All american rejects, fall out boy, etc) and Stray kids have so many alternative vibes that drew me in just a few months ago. Anyways thanks for the reaction!
I love it when ppl use skz songs as an exampl of KPOP not just a pop song and boy bands. Heheh. Imagine if made him listen to venom, megaverse & freeze 😂
i mean, the definition of KPOP itself is pop music sung in the korean language... i think it's just become this overgeneralization of a genre because korean music has so many other genres than "just boybands". stray kids alone have covered a HUGE variety of styles across all 200+ songs. also, people have claimed that a new genre, called "mala-taste", is created by SKZ themselves!

@@vattulaittiyes. kpop is most like a INDUSTRY than a genre
before there are “battleground” and “why”, actually there was a song called AWAKEN. those 3 are the most superb skz rock songs!
YESS!! I LOVE AWAKEN!!
This was the accurate of who was singing who.
Battleground was accurate too.
Also loved how yall brought up the clearl misconceptions of kpop, esp with men who think its just boybands at 9:40.
Stay tuned for May 10th for their Digital single
