AWESOME!!! THANK YOU ERIC!!! Out of all my RUclips channels you are the only one I have my notice on when you add a new video! Just got through playing some RUSH on my drums and I’m drenched! Then I see Loudboy has a new video! What a treat this is!

I look upon the ending of Rush as a current band like this. Their period from Vapor Trails up to R40 was their most popular critically. They were certainly more accessible with TV appearances, walk of fame, Hall of Fame, Letterman, Colbert Report, I Love You Man, The Goldbergs etc etc. They were suddenly cool to a lot more people ( though they always were to us). We got many tours as well as 3 albums resulting in numerous live recordings & DVD's. We also got the excellent documentary 'Beyond the Lighted Stage'. Rush in Rio & the 'Boys in Brazil' was simply on another level ( wow that crowd !). My point being that Rush could easily have ended after Neil's tragedies & no-one could have blamed him if indeed he had retired at that time - that would have broken any man. But no, he returned ( it cannot be overstated the importance of Carrie Nuttall in the history of Rush - perhaps there should be a story told of the women behind the band - & just how wonderful, patient and important they were in all of our lives - Jackie & Selena RIP). So Neil returned & allowed us 15 more years with all of the aforementioned triumphs. I am forever grateful for that. Their legacy feels so much different than if they had ceased after 'Test for Echo' & 'Different Stages'. Thank you Eric for helping keep the memories alive.

Mine too. I brought my wife and Dad because I had a feeling that R40 might be the last. I hate that I was right. 😢

Sadly, due to some reverses in life, I was unable to attend R40. It's nice when footage like this is shared with the community ⭐️🧍‍♂️
Edit: hearing Marathon in the intro reminded me how much I love that song. With RUSH having so many songs, sometimes it's hard to remember the favorites 😂

I feel your pain. My life prevented me from seeing the Clockwork Angels concert. I cherish my concert Blu-ray of that tour.
