In late November, the fighting in Gaza halted as Hamas began freeing hostages in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners.
FRAGILE
The fragile cease-fire ended when Israel restarted air and ground attacks on Gaza. Israel said Hamas had violated the truce.
More than 15,000 Palestinians have been killed in the war.
And there are few safe places to which civilians can flee.
Fragile describes anything that is not strong and can be easily broken or damaged. If something is fragile, it needs to be handled very carefully.
