Buddipole: up to 250w which is nice for full power (100w) digital. Quality production, and in Alaska, works better than most other antennas with our propagation for portable. KL7TC
Quality, dependability and ease of use. Right out of the bag, I tuned 10-15-17 meter bands all 1.2:1 just following manual. And 10 feet up on 10 and 12 meters is 1/4 height and DOES improve all measured parameters for this antenna. Mount it on a fiberglass telescoping mast and you gain 15,17 and 20 meter bumps in performance. Maybe not for everyone, but certainly capable and convenient for POTA
I have used this in the dipole configuration, qrp with an IC-705 and got Spain and Portagal. Other then personal observations and biases I don't hear any reasons or proof of your statements where "You should get more for your money." I love this antenna and have used it on 100 watts and 10 watts works great. It worked better when I upgraded to the 18 foot mast, but I have no complaints other then the tap system. That could be better. Thanksgiving week I was in Wisconsin with my buddies stick deluxe and learned really fast in 17 degree weather to set my taps inside before going out. But over all the Buddie stick and pole deluxe are wonderful antennas.

Unless you get it up very high, every model will agree with me. A straight 1/4 verticle will perform better.

I generally don't operate that high, but yeah it's not a bad antenna, just not my cup of tea!
THANKYOU so SO much for your review. Cheers.
My pleasure!
thanks, nice job 73 fantastic review
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your review. I’ll continue to work my Wolf River Coil vertical and determine how to best get the multiband configurations.
I used a Buddipole for HF for the first 3 years after getting my general class. I've upgraded since then.

What about NVIS ?
@@lessmith99 too low for that even. Significant ground loss at these heights.
