This stirs some really fond memories for me. My Grandma’s house was my safe place as a child, the only place I had no need to be scared of. She was a big ballroom fan like most people in the U.K. of her generation. We would watch ‘Come Dancing’ every Saturday night (decades before Strictly came about) and I was always in awe of the ladies’ beautiful floaty dresses. The foxtrot and waltz so remind me of those days when I was safe and comfy with someone who loved and protected me. Thank you for your beautiful dances 👠 👗 ❤️
