I love the fact that they blame the kiss as the reason they lost instead of the fact that they showed up at Nationals with unwritten and unrehearsed material.
Fun fact (and incidentally my entry at TV Mistakes) At the end when Kurt and Blaine were talking and Kurt talks about his firsts but he includes "I flew in an airplane for the first time" This is incorrect. Kurt flew in an airplane during Funk when he and The Cheerios few RT to Albuquerque NM for The National Cheerleading Championship
This is one of my favorite episodes! Great story, great humor, and great music Fun fact about me: my grade sang that wicked song at our 5th grade graduation. Then we walked out to “Happy” that one year it was super popular 😂
Your reaction to that key change in For Good was so relatable, I must have watched it hundreds of times and it still gives me goosebumps. The entire duet is incredible but that moment was perfection.
The other song "New York, New York" is from the 1944 musical "On the Town." There is a movie that was make in 1949 with Gene Kelly and a very young Frank Sinatra. Frank's song "New York, New York" is from a movie of the same name with Robert De Niro and Liza Minnelli in 1977. Fun Fact John Kander who was one of the composers of the song with song by Liza and made popular by Frank have penned a stage musical about the 1977 movie with Lin Manuel Miranda and it's starting on Broadway now in Previews and with open April 26.
Finn and Rachel's duet Pretending is one of their best. The line from the song "will we ever have a happy ending or will we forever only be pretending" has always stayed with me and it fits their love story, which is sad knowing what will happen later on..
When I was a kid I dreamed of flying to New York inside a giant peach just like James, this was a cool episode with a great song, great reaction as always Travis
I remember watching this episode and crying so much when then sang For Good in the Wicked stage and when they lost. I really thought they were going to😢
When all was said and done, Rachel's and Kurt's friendship was one of my very favorite things out of all of Glee. I love how they started off with a lot of animosity toward each other for a lot of reasons - most of which was based in their strong competitive natures - and in the end that is what drew them together as friends. At a certain point they realized that no one else really "got" their dreams and ambitions the way the other did. And "For Good" is the PERFECT song to represent the nature of their friendship. No, they can't say that everything has always been beautiful and warm and sweet between them - but they CAN say and do recognize that they are each better for having had each other in their lives.
Season 2 started off strong but imo really faltered in it's final few episodes. I think the tipping point was bringing Kurt back to McKinley for no reason other than to please the fans, then breaking Artie and Britney up, again because the fans wanted Santana & Britney together. This fan pleasing plot conveniences carries on for the rest of the show and imo kills it.
I am a full season ahead on Patreon at time of posting ! We have started season 4 ! :)
My favorite in this ep is Santana cracking up and trying to hide it during “My Cup”
That duet between Rachel and Kurt was flawless
Soooooo good
I love the fact that they blame the kiss as the reason they lost instead of the fact that they showed up at Nationals with unwritten and unrehearsed material.
Britney's speech at the end it is my favorite part of this episode. She had a really good development this season.
Agreed
My Cup is my ultimate guilty pleasure song. I will never not listen to it when it comes up on my IPad. I love it and it’s absolute ridiculousness. 😂
The best part of this episode is the way Blaine looks at Kurt and the casual “I love you’s “
Be ready for season 3, it's my favorite Glee season 😍😍😍
Mine too!! 🥰
I don't know why they didn't really gave focus to it but Schue and Vocal Adrenaline sang original songs.
This episode always makes me want to chase my dreams 🥰🤣
Do it !
Go for it!
You should!!
Loved Rachel and kurts duet.
Their rendition of For Good totally makes me cry tooo
I looooove
Schue's song was a single from Matthew Morrison's actual album.

That first song is a mash up of I Love New York by Madonna and New York, New York by the musical On The Town

@@battlegirldeb thank you! I will edit my comment
“why are you so hot?” had me dying😭

samcedes! the best straight ship on this show !
I love it too, but I remember when the episodes of season 3 were releasing people hated them together...
good in theory but no chemistry unfortunately (in my opinion) so i couldn't get on board
they both had better chemistry with other people on the show
Matthew who played Mr Shue sang one of his own songs this episode.. I love new york and there national songs were my favorites this episode
I'm so hyped for you to start season 3, it's my favorite!
8:00 you can't say that!!!!😭😭 had me laughing with peppermint tea in my mouth
The song that the actor who plays William Shuester sings is original from the actor who plays it, Matthew Morrison 😂
I love Finn’s original song that he and Rachel sang in this episode
For some reason I never realized Lea opts up in the key change of for good.
Get ready for season 3!!! BEST SEASON EVER!!! Also Samcedes was my SHIT!!!!❤❤❤❤

Editing out "I made it" by Rachel was an interesting choice.
If you want to watch the show in full , feel free :) there’s also an editor position open if you would like to apply !

You should react to "the glee project" before season 3 🙏🙏
I’m already on season 4!
Maybe after, i think you going to loved it ☺️🙆🏻❤️🇧🇷
I like that they don't win, it's more realistic
What happened to your Supernatural reactions?
They’ll start up again. Numbers didn’t show as much of a demand as some other shows.
Not a fan of the “original song” angle. Stick to covers Glee Club.
Travis what's with the sexual voice in the beginning lol I loved it. I thought maybe I hit the wrong video. Like is he actually watching 50 shades .
