- Not long ago a MONSTER Named "Sans" lived in the underground. Sans as usual went to the door for the jokes.
But...
Sans was lost in the Snowdin forest. Soon, he gave up on finding a way out and tried calling his brother.
However, all of a sudden.
A man appeared from behind. And he said, he could take Sans 'HOME'.
Sans accepted.
And he was in some Black void. He became aware of many kinds of spaces and timelines. And at the heart of it was the human.
A man told Sans. This is your "HOME". Realizing the truth, Sans has gone mad.
...
He woke up in the lab behind his house. And he rushed to the ruins.
To collapse everything.
To be honest, I don't really understand the story. But I guess it is a demo and might change in the future.

i like this unique take on dusttale.
collapsed is an alternate universe where sans goes mad and instead of beelining and killing everything in existence, he instead kills what is necessary for him to become powerful *enough* to stop the human.
he states that he'll constantly appear to persuade the human to give up, so it's suggested he's just gonna continue fighting the human across numerous points in the game (dusttale kinda has this, not really because you have sans at his tail for like 90% of the run), and he doesn't (if not yet) immediately kill papyrus and instead leaves in a hurry for snowdin town, leaving papyrus to narrowly avoid running the human over in his bed and immediately and flamboyantly trampling them.
the meta fourth wall break isn't that shocking but at least it makes sense, the mystery man takes sans and drives him insane with all of this knowledge.
it's not like a "hahaha im sads uddertable here to destroy u also i know timelines also i know your the player also i know chara", instead it's executed fine.

bro so i read the description and i am gonna say is i like the concept although i would've thought he would be more unhinged but this is alright and i like how scary gaster is here with the 'HOME' part but idk why he would wanna fight the human
like i know he would be terrified on gaster.

Wow, the fangame looks so good, I've never think that will a other new game of Dustale better!!
I like to think that sans doesn't normally have any abilities, but only unlocks them out of pure stress, only to realize he has them, and finally try to stand up for once.
However in this universe he knows he has them immediately.
another thing, I like how gaster appears almost instantly, not as some force wanting to stop you, but as a force wanting to toy with the world, some eldritch force.
