@Z Sleazoid just because he isnt signed by a big korean label that put their stars through physically grueling tourute doesn't make the pain/torture he experiences due to his mental health any less significant infact props to him for being so indepents and making a name for himself on his own without going to a big label that makes it even more amazing what he's doing the kpop industry is fucked but there becomes a point where the singers sing already knowing how horrible it is and even though it's horrible and nobody deserves that it was their choice

Would learn this if I knew the tuning. After listening to a good amount of their discography, I'd say Madmans Esprit to me, is great enough to be considered one of the pioneers and innovators of modern visual kei. Or is this black metal? Korean post black metal? You know a band is a gem when there isn't a genre which can describe them.
I'm not a musician and I don't understand anything about the technical side of music. I am an ordinary listener and viewer. But even I think Madmans Esprit is something new musically and visually. This is really a very important band for world music :)
Visual Kei can be a lot of things tbh, so this is visual kei even though Kyuho takes a lot of inspiration from black metal. I wish more VK bands did that, because black metal is a perfect fit for it imo, unfortunately I only found two bands that mixed both sounds, madmans esprit and a very obscure band called Diabolica that released only two singles, but it is pretty nice, cool mix of kote kei and classic symphonic black metal.
I really like how versatile the band is, yet keeping it all together wonderfully. Discovering this band a few years ago was the best thing that happened to me in a long while. Great song as always.
