  • A friend of mine, Terry, showed me this method of terminating an electric fence. This method saved me time and money during my fence build. Check it out!

Maybe I missed it but why do you tie the wires at the donuts rather than using a crimp sleeve?

You're having pizza and you didn't invite me?! Good content and real world advice, i especially like the videos about swarms and bee keeping in general. Thank you.

Have you had any trouble with the wraps coming undone since you didn't knot them? First time a cow hit mine she unwound two wires like they were nothing (she had a habit of that, she is now resting in the great McDonald's in the sky). From here on out, I will use new zealand knot or crimps.

Old video, but what is the spacing on your wires?

Why did you tie the HT instead of crimping it at the donut?

My HT fence is 200,000 PSI. You cannot tie it. If you are using 180K you can tie it, but I understand that crimping is supposed to be stronger. With 5 wires, I do not know how much of a difference it would have made. So why did he? He could do it with the PSI of his wire and using knots was a personal preference.

My wife wouldn't let me do that in the house.
