This is still a great short film. I come back to it from time to time and was the main reason I've been wanting the Canon 1DC. I had finally, after many years, purchased the camera and use it for when I film weddings! Do you ever think about revisiting this 1DC and making another short with it utilizing modern equipment and better support for 4k with RUclips?
THAT'S incredible.... such quality from a 5yo body and great color science from Canon. So close to a more expensive Red camera.....
What an amazing way to use a camera!
Sound is absolutely excellent as is the cinematography. Thumbs up to the editor.The writing is absolutely abysmal. Writing is genetic and the more shorts one watches the more they realize this. The wonderful production cannot save this nightmare of a script and it's real unfortunate because with the talent of a team like this along with the time and money spent, they could have made something memorable and entertaining; instead, we're left with the luster of a beautiful necklace made of fools gold and completely disposable.

Don't steal stuff. That's totally not cool to even imagine it is somehow cool or ok.
Color grading needs work. Loss of contrast as well.
What the hell is wrong with you guys ?!! The color grading in the opening sequence needs to be redone ! The colours are anemic and washed out ! The camera shots are show-offy, and distract from telling the story. The editing is less than good as well (??) WTF ?? What's wrong with continuity editing ? Why do anything which draws attention to itself, and distracts from telling the story ?? The acting is mediocre, and the director is asleep at the wheel. WTF ?? You can have the most wonderful gear, but if you do a mediocre-bare pass of a job, them that's all you have folks !
