    I’ve been really into Kurzweil and Yamaha lately… never really been too big of a fan of Nord, Korg was my baby for a while but I’m a little disappointed in the nautilus.
    The yamaha YC and now the CK have been on my mind a lot. The Kurzweil K2700 has been in my sights too. This one is looking like a solid prospect aswell. It’s hard for me to find what I want but I know some physical drawbars for the organ would be nice lol

    • @spada60
      @spada60 10 месяцев назад

      curious why disappointed with the nautilus. Just bought one and its a great keyboard, nice pianos, synth sounds, drum tracks, sequencer, I could go on and on and its the same engine as the Kronos and its unparalleled for what it offers compared to other keyboards in its price range .

  • @diyez5bemol9

    I just got this today. This thing has mind blowing features. I mostly liked the touchscreen. It’s same as a smartphone touchscreen. No difference. The touchscreen is so sensitive. I also have Modx+ and Krome but I needed a stage keyboard as a main board.
    I really liked the piano sounds. The piano sounds carefully designed for classical music and stage music. As a keyboard player and pianist this is what I needed. Yeah acoustic pianos are really good but I didn’t like the rhodes sounds. Yamaha is better than Nord and Kurzweil for rhodes sounds.
    MY ADVICES
    - if you don’t care about the money, you should buy Nord stage or piano
    - if you wanna control everything easily buy sp7 grand
    - if you want original Rhodes sounds buy Yamaha CP88 then
    - if you want 4 band Eq (so important) buy sp7 grand
    - if you’re only playing piano sounds… it depends my friend :))

  • @DrChaad
    @DrChaad Год назад +4

    We are getting close. My wish list still includes optional harpsichord/organ pedalboard, swell pedal, church/classical/theatre organ pipe registration, tonewheel organ drawbar controls and programmable 2nd-touch sensitivity .
    For the piano, I would like _una corda_ & _sostenuto_ pedal support, variable touch, keyweight & regulation control with uploadable timbre and action emulation/sample sets from various prominent acoustic grands. No problem, right ?

    I'm a little confused. Does the PC4 do anything this SP7 doesn't do? They are very similar in price (within £200) and the SP7 appears to have better sound quality and touch screen. The PC4 has drawbars/faders. Is there anything else it would do better / differently than an SP7?

    • @amitev
      @amitev Год назад

      PC4 is quite old (2019) and it's to be expected that a newer model would have a supreme sound. PC4 is also a synth, which a lot of sound modeling feature, that are most probably not present on SP7. Last but not least, many people are complaining of the action of PC4 (Medeli), while SP7 is using the well-proven Fatar TP/110, that you could find on the Studiologic Numa Piano.

    I wish you played the grand piano sound with a more percussive left hand. The biggest problem I find with electric pianos are the low bass notes have little resonance compared with the acoustic I compose on, and with your gentle left hand it is impossible to tell how loud the bass notes can get. As a writer, it is the reason I hate electric pianos for gigs… my bass notes are very important against the right hand, and if they don’t sound loud even when I am banging it out, you cannot hear the chords correctly.
