"With the Van full the boys head home ...." FULL? It's practically empty! I could have gotten a grand piano, a wing back sofa, a grand father clock and a stuffed moose in there as well, with a bit of room to spare for a gramophone.
Why is everyone so rude!!! I think his show is amazing! I Love his beautiful wife and staff! His driver is amazing!as well! I worked in antiques for a few years And I think he is a awesome picker of his Profession! He knows exactly what he is doing! I would Love to go on one Antique hunt with him! It takes so much investment with his truck, Paying employees, a lot on his shoulders to keep everyone employed! Etc... Charming show! Love it!!!!
Well, did you decide to keep the Scottish dresser/chest or sell it? I was thinking maybe you put it in the window to attract the attention of people to get them in store but you said more than once you wanted to keep it.
I would love to wander through that shop. I see a weak market for my two china cabinets. To make matters worse, dad's machinists tool chest is worth twice as much & he gave it away. Life is grand! huggs, silky
With the van full they head for the shop, open the van doors and the van is half empty, if that is there idea of a full van they should invest in a smaller van, like a mini.
I'm second in line! At least with Mike and Frank from American Pickers if a person asks too lower a price they will step up and offer more + still make an profit. I appreciate to run a business you have to make a profit but not like drew pritchard - OXYGEN THIEF.
What is it about the British? The guy knows what he is talking about and has a successful business/entertaining TV programme. So everybody must hate him and put him down?. If someone is a lowlife/pondlife on Benefits they are "OK" and are a Celeb!!! Weird Country!!?
Too True and am an Alien but there is making a Profit against buggering people sideways, backwards etc. Don't like Drew! T is Brilliant and the series is educational plus entertaining.
Drew comes across as not a very nice person, but i don't suppose you can be supprised seeing the lot he mixes with, the biggest driving force in the sorry lives is to make a buck at all costs it seems.
That's the nature of the business. He did a lot of work for that piece. Consider this. Cost of time and labour to find item. Cost of labour to do the hauling. Cost of petrol to move it from one part of the country to the other. Cost of rent or mortgage on his shop. Cost of employee wages in shop. There are tons of costs involved in every piece a dealer purchases. This is how it works. Absolutely nothing wrong or unexpected with this.
Drew. screws every one. he’s not happy with £2000 profit on a chest of drawers he still wants more 😢😤😡 no work on it. drew puts his own price on Items. Which he’s mentioned in other episodes some one will buy it 😂😂
That pine chest of drawers is my favorite thing he ever bought. I also would keep it and not sell it. But sell it he did, and not to me. Ah well

Why is some comments rude Sorry!
The shear size of the cabinet would make a lot more sense to a big Scots than it does to a small Welshman.
Business is business, but i do enjoy the programme's odd lessons here and there....
Here some excellent quotes as well 👍
