Gleamium is one of the worst uses for the event coins imo. The value is way too small. The variants will allow you to play certain nodes in future rifts, they give you prestige, extra event xp for different classes, and sometimes I even end up liking them for how they look. 100 Gleamium is basically nothing. I'd rather get the devil horns emote.
@@MateusDrake I myself will be getting 200 gleamium and the emote! I personally don’t like these skins at all and keeping in mind I will be able to do any future missions with the skin from the battle pass I feel like the value is not as high. You also mention prestige and while you are right the inclusion of arena devalues prestige a little bit since you can now farm it.

Gleamium are practically the best use for event coins primarily because they are the second most consistent way for you to get the one currency that NORMALLY REQUIRES IRL MONEY FOR FREE. The only other way they do that is you get lucky with your infinite level BP pulls, hope they announce a Multiversus Reward stream, get lucky with the Free items on the Store and/or Gleamium Wedensdays. I'm even sure the Gleamiums being in part of the store is intentional because it's supposed to be a pity reward for when your favorite character DIDN'T get a skin in the current event.
@@adorabunny2538 its good for people who need a bit of extra gleamium for the battlepass or for a skin they want or even a character the skins you get from the event aren't good at all so yeah I would probably just get the gleamium
@ yes I call when someone takes me to a rift that I couldn’t join “taxi” and yes this works when you need specific skins or characters to do the rift but will not help with the nodes themselves as you need to be the one using X or doing Y

Biggest downside I see are 2 in particular n1 if you are a newcomer who comes because you see a new character announced you will have to pay if you want to use them as you want have any other reliable way of getting the new shiny character and n2 if you have a specific character you want to unlock it might be locked behind 15 other characters you simply will never use so some people might leave the game preemptively because if that. It’s a step in the right direction but in my opinion it needs some tuning
@@Bob3lManI hear that. I only bought Raven bc I have the 5$ beginner packs with 1K gleamium so I essentially got her for half off. Its def a business tactic they’re using to get newbies in for some cash; really wish I could’ve say chosen a tier closer to her then grinded from there but eh

Hey uh.. joining Rifts in coop allows you to skip some rift requirements, the host can deal with those.
