    What do you say if they ask "Which Neighbor", when you say did neighbor let them know I was coming by ?

      No fr. We had one person come buy a few years ago use the neighbor line and my husband goes, "Oh, which neighbor?" And it completely derailed the guy 😂

    What’s the best way you educate yourself on your local market before going out door knocking? I’m planning on door knocking soon. I’m SUPER nervous mainly because if I’m asked a question about current interest rates or how the market is I might not know what to say. How do you prepare for that before going out?? Thank you for the video!!!

      Ally great question, I’d speak with a trusted loan office to get up to date info on rates as well as look at your MLS in the area you will knock. This will let you see recent listed homes and sold comps to educate home owners in values

    I like the idea of digging deeper with questions, but what if the prospect isn't receptive? Do you try pushing past that or just move on?

      It really depends. Some people will not be receptive which you have to read. But it can be really helpful to have someone else analyze your body language and ton at the door because you may just be one thing off from people being more receptive. Usually with the right questions you will know if someone is engaged or not and when to work more towards building a relationship and getting contact info

    If you don’t carry a notebook, how do you record their contact info and notes about each individual? Do you just remember and write them when you get home?

    Would you use this as a brand new real estate agent? I'm over in New Zealand and literally about to receive my license and start cold calling/door knocking! Would you say you're working with people in the market or do you have a new agent script recommendation?

      Lean on your team or brokerage, ask agents in your office what their clients needs are and knock accordingly. This way you show you have clients but it’s through other agents!

      Great idea thanks Cameron, I will definitely do that! Door knocking is not common over here and my brokerage has very little experience with it. I plan to change that!

    Anyone out there find it weird that your first pattern interrupt question is complete bullshit? Why not use a question to start that is truthful if you want to build trust.

      See that’s the thing, if you sell enough homes and ask for referrals it’s nothing but the truth, neighbors talk. If you haven’t sold any homes obviously don’t use it 🫡

      @@cameronureofficial the first thing you say "Did your neighbor tell you I'd be coming by?" What if this is the first house you knocked on in the neighborhood? What if they ask who you're referring to? It seems like there would be a more truthful way to start the conversation. The rest of the script makes sense.

      @@alisonalfredson7223 absolutely, as I have said in other videos, if this is not a neighborhood that you have knocked before, or have a legitimate reason to say this don’t. I only use this when I have a contact in the neighborhood, have sold homes there before, or have spoken with an agent that has information from their seller regarding other neighbors looking to sell.

      Yeah why tf would a neighbor tell you that a salesman is coming? If he did I would be sure not to answer door that day lol
