  • Here is an old school Marilyn Manson interview at much music in Toronto Canada. This was to support his new album "Holy Wood". I was in attendance of this event inside, and it was definatly an awesome experience. After the interview, he went down to edge 102 the radio station on yonge street to fo an autograph signing with the rest of the band before playing a show at Massey Hall, November 18th 2000

He is amazing and smart! He has political and religious views I share. I've always had them. I've always gone against the grain, i'd love to meat him. I also like to tell him he has a beautiful soul.

He's the most levelheaded person in music I know of. He's so open to different views and that's why I love him. Don't understand how people can't see that/are afraid of him. I'm Christian and I think he's wonderful. :)

he is one of the most profound and amazing human beings on our planet! He is off the charts with his intelligence and completely ahead of his time! Human beings have been destroying themselves for over 1000 years and that is what he sings about! Seeing himself as a persecuted Christ because of columbine was fucking brilliant. Just the fact that he was so deeply disturbed and hurt by those accusations shows what a beautiful and truly moral person he is. Huge fan, and will be forever

Such a great interview and interviewer. I remember when she interviewed him when Smells Like Children came out. She Treated him with the same respect, intelligent questions and artistic integrity before he was famous that she does here which is Manson at the height of his fame. If only he’d stayed this humble and intelligent, grounded and introspective, instead of becoming a caricature of himself. But this will always be the Manson I remember, and love. One of the greatest voices of my generation. Maybe the last great voice of any generation...

It's not because he's a celebrity. It's because he's interesting and creative. Period.
    Do you want more likes?
    Then be interesting and creative.
If you're getting mostly dislikes...what does that say about you?
Rather than blame outward, look inward.
People admire interesting and creative people.
    Are you interesting and/or creative?
If not...why not? What can you do to change?
If you say and do things that fascinate people, you'll get the likes you crave.
It's entirely up to you...no one else.

i really like and respect this artist. i dont feel idolization towards him or worship him as a lot of other fans do, because to me that would be playing into a terribly hypocrtical irony and total mutation and misunderstanding of his original message. But he inspires me to cater more to the creativity inside me and inside all of us. His music is some of the best ive ever heard. (writing on xbox keypad so sorry for the shitty ass grammer)

This is in an interesting interview to listen to today. It is fascinating to me to listen to these artists and personalities who became widely known and celebrated for their push back against censorship like Manson, Eminem and Howard Stern, yet today these same people are more than happy to bend the knee to censorship and shun those who are considered the counter narrative by standards from 25 years ago when these people were on the rise. They have become the very things they fought against in order to remain comfortable in the decadence they were eventually showered with.

10:32 the kid literally expresses how he is a huge fan and is privileged to speak with marilyn, then goes on to ask his question....asking about how he met his current gf and if they still are together. Talk about awkward, like honestly I have seen so many interviews where Marilyn clearly gets off put by questions by so many interviewers that it just makes me impressed to see how well he is able to suck it up and not start bitchin' about his feelings.

I hate it when ppl say he's turned to shit coz he hasn't, he had a bad era and got a bit chubby.. so what? his album the high end of low us ac really good, its just so different to his usual and hard to understand. but now in 2015 hes back to how he was in the 90s, so its easier for his old fans to understnad him. and I get he was bad for a time but hes back man! and like I did about the high end of low, its ac a real good album it's just so different to his usual and hard to understand

    • @atticustay1
      @atticustay1 8 лет назад

+Meee Gal His new album is pretty good but he's still not like how he was in the 90's. You can't even really make an argument for that. His voice is half wrecked, his stage performance is half hearted and he doesn't look like he did. Manson was the anti-chirst in the 90's, he was relevant, made great music, did incredible performances and looked amazing. Now he's passed his best and he just made a good album but it doesn't mean he's back to how he was in the 90's.
