Delhi Elections Result 2025: "The wounds of the Delhi riots, the effect of the CAA-NRC movement, the leadership of Muslims means leadership and emotional message.." This was the claim that Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi's All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) was adopting in the Delhi Assembly elections. But now after the results, it can be said that the matter was 50-50. AIMIM had fielded its candidates on only two seats in the Delhi Assembly elections.
Okhla and Mustafabad assembly seats and the party has faced defeat on both of these. Asaduddin Owaisi has caused a big loss to the Aam Aadmi Party on one seat in this election, or say that AIMIM is the reason for the defeat of the Aam Aadmi Party. The two seats on which AIMIM contested the elections were occupied by the Aam Aadmi Party.
Amanatullah Khan of Aam Aadmi Party has been the MLA on the Okhla seat for 10 years, while the Aam Aadmi Party won the Mustafabad seat in 2020. But this time Owaisi turned the tables by giving tickets to people associated with the CAA-NRC movement from both the Muslim-dominated seats.

"दिल्ली दंगे का जख्म, CAA-NRC आंदोलन इफेक्ट, मुसलमानों की कियादत मतलब लीडरशिप और इमोशनल मैसेज.." ये वो दाव था जो हैदराबाद के सांसद असदुद्दीन ओवैसी की ऑल इंडिया मजलिस-ए-इत्तेहाद-उल मुस्लिमीन (AIMIM) दिल्ली विधानसभा चुनाव में अपना रही थी. लेकिन अब नतीजों के बाद ये कहा जा सकता है कि मामला 50-50 रहा. AIMIM ने दिल्ली विधानसभा चुनाव में सिर्फ दो सीटों पर अपने उम्मीदवार उतारे थे.
ओखला और मुस्तफाबाद विधानसभा सीट और इन दोनों पर ही पार्टी को हार का सामना करना पड़ा है. असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने इस चुनाव में आम आदमी पार्टी को एक सीट पर बड़ा नुकसान पहुंचाया है, या कहें आम आदमी पार्टी की हार की वजह ही AIMIM है. जिन दो सीटों पर AIMIM ने चुनाव लड़ा था इसपर आम आदमी पार्टी का कब्जा था.
ओखला सीट पर 10 साल से आम आदमी पार्टी के अमानतुल्लाह खान विधायक हैं, वहीं मुस्तफाबाद सीट पर 2020 में आम आदमी पार्टी जीती थी. लेकिन इस बार ओवैसी ने मुस्लिम बाहुल्य दोनों सीट से सीएए-एनआरसी आंदोलन से जुड़े लोगों को टिकट देकर मामला पलट दिया.
