I wonder, if DOOM Slayer was in dmc, would he be demonist and assume any kind of demon is evil? Who would win if DOOM Slayer and Dante fought? They’re both pretty much immortal, with DS being literally immortal, and Dante having wacky regen speeds. There’s so many factors, cause if DS has the crucible, it’s probably gg because as far as we’ve seen, that cuts thru everything, but if Dante can Cascade him, that could do some serious damage. DS has much higher strength while Dante has more speed. The BFG is a little iffy, because Argent Energy likely doesn’t exist in dmc, which is how it latches into demons, however we’ve never seen it’s effects on living things without Argent. I’m leaning towards DS.
Assuming the crucible is capable of cutting through anything is illogical, since just because we haven't seen it fail to cut through anything doesn't mean it can. As for who would win, that's dependant on which version of them you're using, if it's a Dante who has access to every weapon and style he has shown to use, and DOOM Slayer would have the same treatment of course, then I would be skewed a bit more to Dante due to quicksilver and doppelganger, but then again that could be due to my lacking knowledge of DOOM in the first place so I can't really say for sure
@@Tisrem10 when did Dante have doppelganger? And that’s the thing, we’ve never seen it fail, against all these extremely tough demons, some with pretty much bulletproof metal armor, it never fails.
@@ryebananabread7843 I remember an analogy said by seththeprogrammer that fits this, he said "imagine you have a sword that is said it can cut through anything, but in that world everything is made of wood, if you take that sword and bring it to another world where everything has higher durability than wood than does that mean it can cut through anything even though it has only cut through wood?". As for when Dante had doppelganger, he got it after defeating a shadow version of himself in DMC 3.
