I bought the TU631 LRF a few months ago, coming from the AGM Rattler 640, this one is a nice upgrade, love the integrated laser rangefinder, easy to adjust and well built!
Looks like a decent scope for the money and one that'll get the job done, but like you I prefer scopes that don't use proprietary batteries. That's why I steered away from the Pulsar and iRay scopes too.
Great review, Out of the rix l6, Guide, or iray bolt th50cv2 do you think is best for picture quality since they are all in the same price range, or recommend anything else, thanks.
I haven’t looked through these myself, but I’ve heard the overall image quality/clarity just isn’t there with the Guide brand scopes. Can you comment on the image quality compared to any of the newer Rix, AGM stuff? For best value overall I’d go with the new Rix Storm S6. $2799. 2x. 35mm. 640 res. 12 micron.
@@whenpigsdie6103 the storm image looks terrible in every recording I have seen and it’s only 2x with zero extra features. The image on the guide is absolutely not on the level of newer Iray or pulsar 640 units but it’s absolutely on par with RIX and AGM. At $3500 I can totally recommend this scope. Of it were $4000 or more I’d probably sway people to something else. I’d also need to recommend the pulsar XQ50 LRF even though it’s a 384 it does an incredible job!
Thanks for the detailed review. The image looked really good and seemed to hold a decent image when zoomed in. One thing I noticed was the blue arrow for the range finder seemed to somewhat block the crosshair. Can you adjust the location of the LRF pointers?
@@tbob740 I think it would be. The netd rating on the mk1 is only sub50 mk and this is sub30 which helps a lot in image clarity. I also think the slightly higher base mag on this scope is more favorable than the 2x of the mk1.
@@OwnTheHunt appreciate the feedback. I feel like there is so much new thermal tech coming out every other day. Whatever you buy is ancient history after 6 months
When the scope is in rest mode and you come across the like som button or menu, it turns on. if you pull the rifle on the axle and hit one of the buttons, it turns on. Can't find any settings for that. On ather scope you most press on power button to get it on

I also have the 50-640 V1 Rattler and am looking to upgrade as well. Having a difficult time deciding between this one or the Iray Bolt 50 V2.

How did they drop their pricing on August 10th when today is August 9th?

Looking forward to the monocular review.
I had to send the one they sent me back because it had issues so I won’t be putting out that review unless they send me a different one in the future.

No you can’t because it’s a fixed lrf

Not counting the LRF. Would this be an upgrade from iray rico mk1 640 35mm?
