I hope this video helps you, along with all my other Xyron videos on my channel. Thank you so much for sharing my videos, commenting, watching and supporting me. It truly means the world to me. Many blessings to you!🥰❤️❤️❤️🤗
Oh thank you so much Amy for the wonderful comments! I appreciate you so much! I’m extremely happy these tips will help you. 🥰🥰 Have a great night, hopefully with some late night crafting. 🥰❤️❤️🤗
Another way to eliminate the waste is to have a container on hand, filled with paper punched , die-cut, fussy-cut or cut-apart items; or even kid scribbled pictures in various sizes. Run your item(s) for your project through followed by one or more of your random items from your container, but don't pull those items all the way through. Let them remain in the machine until the next time you need a desired item. You will be pulling stickers out each time instead of wasted sticky paper. Save them for handy embellishments for projects or for kid stickers!
Thank you so much Kim! I also love layering different foil shapes behind background dies too. It’s so fun and the perfect way to use up those little scraps! Have a great day Kim! ❤️
Awww I’m so happy you’re enjoying all the Xyron videos on my channel. Thanks so much for watching and supporting my channel. Have a wonderful night. Hugs, Missy 🤗🤗❤️❤️
Honestly, I quit using the 1-1/2" Xyron for the very reason you showed......NOW, hopefully, I can use it again without all the frustration but doubt I'll ever buy it again! Also, thanks so much for the tips for using the waste...PURE GENIUS!!!
You’re so welcome Jeanne! ❤️❤️❤️ I’m so happy you enjoy the videos. Thank you so much for supporting my channel. Hugs 🤗 to you and I hope you have a super wonderful weekend! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video with the great suggestions and tips for the various Xyron devices Missy, really appreciate it! I have all 3 of these Xyron devices and will use these tips next time I use my machines. 👍💗
You’re very welcome Kimberly! I’ve been definitely wanting to make this video! I’m so happy you can use all these tips! It makes a huge difference in the amount of adhesive you will use. Thank for watching and leaving the sweet comment. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Have a wonderful night!🤗
Didnt realize how much waste there was with these xyron minis! I never thought to put blank paper thru to use the negative space left from the die cuts. Game changer. I have them all and I use them all the time, Ty for the hacks.
I’m so happy you found this video helpful Sherry. ❤️❤️❤️ The Xyron machines are so amazing to craft with and I’m so happy you enjoy using yours too. 😍😍❤️❤️ Have a wonderful day! Hugs, Missy 🤗🤗
Good to know about that disposable one as I've wondered if should get one. Now I know not to get it. With my X shaped one I've waited until I have several small items to turn through and then watch when I drop the next piece in and have saved some waste that way. Good video!
Wow!!! great suggestions I have the five/ three inch station but that will work for it too and I have the X machine too so great ideas to save on the waste Thanks
You’re so welcome Nelliebeans5!! I’m so excited you loved the video and found it helpful. I enjoy making videos that help! 🥰🥰🥰 Thank you so much for watching and supporting my channel! Have a great night! ❤️❤️❤️

Just found your channel and have been binge watching, really appreciate your great tips! I have not used my xyron in forever because of the waste, I thought it was just me. Now I can get much more use out of it, thank you.
Awww you’re so sweet! Thank you so much for sharing this with me. ❤️😍 Your wonderful comments absolutely made my day. I’m so happy all these tips are going to help you. Have a great weekend! 🥰 Hugs, Missy
Oh Sybil thank you so much for the kind words! ❤️😭 This comment made my heart so happy. 🥰🤗 Thank you for subscribing and being a part of my RUclips family! I can’t wait to share more with you! Have a wonderful crafty day! ❤️🤗
😊I can't thank you enough for this. I only have one of the 1.5 X models and I've been loath to use it other than once in a blue moon precisely because of how much of the adhesive gets wasted. It now makes it more likely that I'll also get the 3 inch version at some point knowing the best ways to minimise the waste. In general, I do think that too many art and craft supplies lead to far too much waste, most of which is plastic and so anything that helps gets my vote. It's a shame though that these machines couldn't be designed with that in mind from the outset, and the disposable ones don't go far enough IMO. Anyway, thanks again I'm now going to see what other tips I can learn from you. 🥰😍😘
Thank you so much!❤️ I’m so happy the video has helped! This is one of my favorite adhesives to use. These tips definitely help minimize the waste. I appreciate all the wonderful comments🥰🥰, it definitely brightened my day, since today has been a tough one for me. 🙁 I hope you enjoy the rest of my videos. Have a super wonderful day!!!❤️❤️❤️
I’m so happy you loved the tips Debra. 😍❤️❤️❤️ Hope you find all the other tips on my channel helpful as well. 🥰Have a great night. 😍❤️❤️ Hugs, Missy 🤗🤗🤗
Have a nice day ! Marie, Palavas les Flots, France
I have a 500, and something is not right so I've cut them so they're separate and I'm hoping I can just cut the white paper and place what I want on there and cut the plastic the same size and rub it down. I watched the foil heart video, so I'm super happy I didn't throw away the big piece I had left when I cut them apart. I don't to like waste, and throw nothing away.
I’m so happy the videos have been a great help to you Debby. 🥰🥰 Definitely don’t throw away any waste because you absolutely can use it. ❤️❤️ Have a super wonderful day Debby!🥰🤗
I bought this machine a couple of months ago after seeing your first video about intricate dies and using this machine with them. But the machine is still sitting in the box. I’m a little intimidated to even open the box. Sure wished u did an unboxing to show us how to put a cartridge in and use it. Anyways, I think I might finally take it out of the box and give it a go. Thxs for inspiring me to do it. 🤗❤️🇨🇦
Yay! I’m so excited you have the machine! Yes I absolutely agree new things can be so intimidating! I know the feeling myself for sure! I will definitely put up a video really soon explaining how to take out and re install the cartridge correctly. Once you understand how that process works, the rest is really easy! You will love this Xyron and use it a lot! I’m so glad I can be of help. So be on the lookout of that video coming soon. Have a wonderful day!❤️❤️
Awesome Carol! I hope all the Xyron videos on my channel help you, and give you lots of inspiration for this amazing machine. I have lots of inspiration on my channel. 😍 Have a wonderful crafty weekend! Hugs, Missy 🤗🤗❤️❤️
Great tips. Couldn’t you have run the foiled heart back through the Xyron instead of using the double sided sheet? One thing I do to eliminate waste is to feed things through really close together. Like almost on top of each other before I pull through. Very little waste as opposed to putting one die through at a time and then pulling through. Obviously if you only have one thing, that’s not an option, but I tend to wait until I have more than one before running through.
Thank you so much! You can absolutely do this anyway you prefer. When I show ideas there will be other ways to do it as well. If I showed them all, it would make the videos way too long. 😂🥰 I recommend experimenting and see what works best for you. ❤️❤️I enjoy providing inspiration to everyone so you can take the ideas, experiment and create your own masterpieces. 😍😍 In my last Xyron video I ran my pieces through close together and I ended up getting a space between two of them because I got sidetracked and wasn’t paying attention. 😂😂😂 Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!❤️❤️
Awww I’m so happy you’re enjoying the hacks on my channel. This makes me so happy that these ideas are helpful to you. 🥰🥰❤️❤️ Have a wonderful night. Hugs, Missy 🤗🤗
I’m so sorry you had that experience Kathy. I’ve never had any of that happen with any of my Xyron adhesive. That Xyron X is definitely a handy little thing to have around when you need it! ❤️❤️🥰 Have a wonderful day!
New viewer I do not have any xron machine It does look like getting the sheet out of any of these takes hand strength that I don’t have Is there an electronic one thx
Hello Sheila. 🥰 The Xyrons with the hand crank handles on the sides are really easy to use. They have cutters on the back of the machine. So no tearing the paper with your hands. I love those machines. Easy to crank the handles as well. The Xyron creative station 9” machine or the Xyron creative station 5”machine are both the easiest to use since they don’t make an electric Xyron. I hope this helps. ❤️
I wish that I did Helen. I haven’t used the lamination cartridge yet in my machine. I’m always using adhesive. 🥰 If I ever do come up with a way to use it, you will definitely hear about it on my channel! Thanks so much for watching Helen, I appreciate you supporting my channel! ❤️❤️🤗
FWIW the second sticker maker is not disposable, but is recyclable with #1 items, which most private and municipal recyclers accept! I really enjoyed your presentation, your deliberate and detailed manner, and your professional approach to using the correct words for all the materials, and you were great with making sure we could see the details of what you were doing. You were clear, not in a hurry, not loud and hype, no annoying background music, it was very relaxing, I actually would say that your video and audio qualify as #unintentionalASMR. I will definitely be checking out your other content. Thank you for sharing all these tips. I just got a 9 inch creative station ($10 bucks at the thrift store!) and I arrived at your channel with a search on how to use it. I am an avid recycler and I love the idea of not wasting this expensive refill material! You also gave me some other ideas of how to create some things with this machine. Hope you have a great summer, Missy. I am going to like and subscribe and like your viewers comments to give some love to this great video.
Awww this comment made my day! 😍 You’re absolutely the best! Thank you so much for all your kindness. 🥰 That’s an awesome deal on that 9” creative station! I’m so happily for you! ❤️❤️ I hope you enjoy all the ideas on my channel. Thank you so much for watching and supporting my channel. It means the world to me. I can’t wait to share more fun and creative Xyron videos with you. Hugs, Missy 🤗🤗❤️❤️
Great tip! Question for you. I rarely use my 1-1/2 Xyrom sticker maker because it leaves so much adhesive residue on the die cut piece. All around the edges and in crevices. I just put a new refill in thinking my roll was old. But the new one does the same thing. Do you have this problem ? If so, how do you solve it?
If you haven’t seen my videos of how to get rid of the webs using different die cutting machines, definitely check those videos out. If you don’t have a die cutting machine, go around the outside edge with an embossing tool. 🙂 Hugs, Missy 🤗🤗❤️❤️

Great help.. can the refill for zyron create--a-sticker mini be used the same the zyron 150?
Awesome video. Thanks 😊
I have all the machines... I'll use them more often now that I know these tricks! Thank you!

Would 3D stickers work in the X shaped machine? I have some alphabet stickers with gemstones on them that aren't very sticky.
My X one fell and the blade broke off. So now I just use scissors or my exacto blade and cut in the same place you showed.
I definitely prefer using scissors for cutting than using the blade on the X. 😍❤️❤️🤗🤗 Have a wonderful night. Hugs, Missy 🤗🤗

Xyron is so wonderful for that! Hugs, Missy 🤗🤗

I love my Xyron X but threw the 9 inch machine away and the 5 inch one. The tape would just get stuck because I didn't use them that often.
