    This is gettin good. The gills and folds are hard to carve but it’s lookin really good.

    What tool do you use to shape the details In the wood?

      I use a variety of tools from a band saw to various kutzall bits and diamond burrs. I’ve used flex cut knives recently for starting details like the gills and refining them with various bit shapes. I try to show what tools I’m using in each step.

      I did a quick tutorial on part 3 of the crappie. But I’m going to do another one a little more detailed this weekend.
