This is for Luke. My sweet nephew. You are magic in little boy form. We are all better just for knowing you. I hope one day you see that your Mom and Dad did everything they could for you. That your family loved you endlessly. That you are without a doubt the biggest blessing of our lives. I hope you know how special you are now and always. If you don’t know Luke, I hope you learned something about compassion and hope. About autism. I hope this reaches someone who needed to feel supported and loved. You are kind. You are special. And you are so, so important.
We are also trying to make some changes for him to be allowed therapy as he continues into first grade. As you can tell, therapy has been something that has changed his life. Please take a moment and sign the petition below to help us bring up a problem with the school system for Luke and for so many others just like him who don’t have a voice.
