@@xploringoptions7806 Thanks! I applied for seasonal sales associate. I'll give an update afterwards :) Also, what questions did they ask you if you don't mind me asking?
@@riah8789 Great!! Good luck again. Some of the questions i remember them asking was: 1. Tell me about yourself? 2. Why do you want to work here? 3. They ask about my retail experience... Yes never say you don’t have any questions 🎯 me and you are alike, I was preparing questions and interview response on paper before I even watched this video. My interview is later today. I’m more excited than nervous. I have previous experience so I hope they accept me in.
Lol i know right! I feel that it makes the process so much easier when you're fully prepared because our nerves can sometimes get the best of us. Good Luck on your interview!!🤗🤗
Heyy, So your first day of work is actually your orientation and that should mostly consist of them going over company policy, what is expected of you, job requirements, dresscode and online training. Then they'll probably give you a tour of the facility and explain each work station. They'll tell you when next you'll have too come in for your training. (You should be given 2 days of on the job training and after that you're pretty much on your own. So try to catch on quickly) What position are you applying for?
Thank you for this video! It definitely helped me get the job. Can you tell me how you did after just two days of training. Was it stressful? Did you have to ask for a lot of help? Did you make some mistakes? This is my first ever job and I hope I do well. And also I applied for the Seasonal Sales Associate position In late October and I have my orientation in early December. Do you think they'll still let me go in early January because my position is seasonal? That would mean I will only be working for about a month. Thank you again for your video. Can you do an updated video? Maybe like a day in the life video and tell us how you're doing.
You are welcome🤗 and congrats on getting the job🎉 After orientation you usually start to work right after so you might be on for the Christmas rush. Every store and associates are different, there are some that will be very helpful and others that act like you are annoying them when you ask for help. But it is their job so do not be afraid to ask, its always better to ask than make a mistake thats harder to be undone. This was actually my first job too but i am also a quick learner. I started of training in customer service (i wouldn't even call it training because they explained the process and showed me 2 transaction with customers then they pretty much leave you to fend for yourself) i did work as a sales associate on the floor and it isnt hard... Your basically folding clothes, retrieving items for online orders etc. Seasonal usually runs to January or February but im not too sure. I'll try to do an updated video🤗
Hey, I have an interview tomorrow and I am so nervous. I was wondering what would I answer if they ask when will I be available to work? Like I can work as soon as possible but this weekend I will not be available. Other than that any weekend I can work and whichever time.
Hi, not sure if im too late but you can tell them that you have prior engagements that you won't be able to change on such short notice... The first day is actually just orientation and its 4 hours or less... then you get 2 days of on the job training.
So I have Orientation at Kohl’s this Sunday and I had a question, If your under 18 years old and don’t have a banking account for direct deposit, do you as the employee have to bring a blank check so they can write you a check or do they provide that for you? And also what type of information do I have to bring at the orientation if your under 18 years old? Any information would help ☺️
Hi congrats on making it pass the interview stage. So I'm not sure how they will handle payment in your case and i do not want to be making speculations so my best response will be that you should explain that to them when you go for thr orientation and they will proceed accordingly. However, i do remember them giving me an option to choose check payment which will mean that they provide it because im guessing the business name/banking info need to bevalready printed on it. Usually its just you ID, Banking info & social security card or number. So in your case it should be just your social security card
I got a job offer. Is it true that elegible associates are forced to get the Kohl's credit card? Not selling it but actually have to apply and get the credit card for themselves?
Hi. I enjoy your video. I have one question. What do I wear for the Orientation?. That is my first day of work, I assume. It'll be from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. I'm a male. Thanks.
Hey, First of all Congrats on the job😊. The recommended dress code is "Business Casual" which would be a Dress Shirt, Pants and Closed Toe Shoes. But they will go over the dresscode with you because some company's have updated their dresscode policy. Orientation mostly consist of online training and touring the facility and going over the work ethics. Good Luck!!😊 What position did you apply for?
