This looks so fun and exactly the type of content we need more of on Quest 3.
And it's what we would have had if meta wouldn't have blocked developers from being allowed to even ask for access to camera and or depth sensor data. Because of that developers can't tell or objects are what they look like or get any data whatsoever because of the supposed "privacy worries".
Don't get me wrong privacy is indeed concerned but the fact that they don't allow developer Steve and ask for it?!?
That literally makes it impossible to do XR. The only thing we can do right now is place blocks and walls down on the edges of areas that we mark and use a star algorithms to move randomly within allowed areas. Of course medicine entirely bypass this so they're basically just using that doesn't excuse to own the market they made.
I played alot of 3DO's Army Men Air Combat in the early 2000's on N64. This is definitely a dream come true!

this mixed reality stuff is way more impressive than I thought. like how tf does it give you a first person cam with drone but at the same time you can still see the room. man I really need too upgrade too quest 3
It’s a pretty big wow moment in the headset
I use to crash my real drones in my home and damage light bulbs...now i can practice without any damage physically and fly more like a pro...its got the same real physics as a real drone.

Ich kann mit MR nicht viel anfangen, sehe persönlich da nur selten einen Mehrwert.
Immerhin macht es nun deutlich mehr Sinn seitdem der Passthrough deutlich optimiert worden ist.

They already have it. It's called fpv drones. Look them up. Smh
quest 2/3 has much better quality and why would you need separate fpv goggles when you could be using quest 2/3 as the the fpv goggles.@@johnrambo1349
I'm glad other people seem to be into this, but it's doing nothing for me. Just looks like a shallow gimmick in my opinion, like most MR.

I don't know if, as an American, you're interested in what's going on in the world, but it seems to me that the title is a bit inappropriate.
Tell byran to give up on psvr2 and give us quest coverage. Psvr2 sold 700 headsets on Amazon last month. It's in the toilet
