1,555th tag-along view setting sail... 3:18 - very impressed by the 'tidy look' of this herringbone (or basket-weave) brick-paver road in this otherwise very-rural landscape. 6:33 - AHH - and, here we go, "Out On The Ocean" (Irish trad tune reference intentional - video of me playing it on mandolin, on a day-sail, on a 38-ft Seawind cat!! HAA!!) 9:11 - WOW - you've got your own personal Bat-Signal on board... that's one not many have heard about. Well-deserved 228th LIKE for that!
They're two islands we planned to sail to but missed when we decided to back track and explore Sulawesi. Thanks for giving us a peek at them. Cheers Rob & Karen.
It is amazing to see how there were able to incorporate some of modern convinces while keeping the industrialization part out of their lives. Thanks for sharing their life, stories, and culture. And as always Jamie's pictures are spectacular
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Words fail me. Loved the lady's STAFF ONLY sign, the polychrome bicycle and, toward the end, the mother and yawning child. Thank you both.
Brilliant photography, as always! Such a great eye, and your street photography is just fantastic, the way you set everyone at ease and capture those frames, colors, etc. And we can't wait to eat the food...🤤 Always nice to see the Kraken out, and hope your sailing wasn't too harrowing! ❤
More of Jamie's wonderful photography, How do you do it? Weather in the UK is weird, warm, wet (a lot of the time) and windy. Global warming? Too much wind for my boat most of the time of late.
Silly question: I noticed that you were carrying a bit of mizzen as well as the "Krakken" on what appeared to be a deep reach in modest conditions, yet no mainsail. Have you done this to balance the yacht and to enjoy a more leisurely sail or is it "cheeky" editing, or is there another reason? Thanks for the content. Great pics as usual.
Hey David. Not a silly question. We don't use the kraken for dead downwind so on a broad reach, with the kraken, the main blocks the wind so it's put away.
Beautiful photo's and cinematography. You're like a floating National Geographic!
Yay, thank you, Charles 😃👍

Yeah, with uninterrupted views they can be really quite spectacular 😎

Perfrect pronounciation of Bawean 👌

@@followtheboat It goes without saying: after you, Liz! Best regards. (Came back to check out the fishbone lady.)
Bats in the mast! That’s a RUclips first! Great as always.
Sadly didn't get footage of them in the mast itself but they came for quite a ride.
Great name for a band!
Very good, Jamie and the camera.
Thank you, George 📸

You can call the warung lady Ibu Wati, or just ibu. That works well in Indonesia.
That's great information to dhare here, thanks! Liz 🙏
