You're not imagining how quickly time fly. I can't believe it either. As people would tell me, enjoy and appreciate every second of your day with him. He will suddenly be talking to you. Enjoy each phase of his life. You are both so fortunate to be at home and not miss any moments of Jackson's accomplishments.
Tim, you are too funny with the “DaDa”! Don’t worry, he loves his mom AND dad- you can tell by how he looks at each of you. And don’t be surprised when he’s a toddler and goes through cycles of wanting only mom or only dad. The pendulum swings back and forth many times!
I highly recommend looking to Shady Oaks Camp in Homer Glen, Illinois. It's a camp for people with disabilities. It's been running for 74 years and this year it was the first tie camp was cancelled in its history due to the pandemic. The majority of the campers have brain injuries and/or cerebral palsy, and everyone has a heart of gold. I worked the camp last year and this camp needs to survive for years to camp to give disabled people a great summer and parents/carers a chance to enjoy summers knowing their loved one is being cared for by someone. Love you guys
"You don't put a lot of stuff on hot dogs" says Tim the man who has literally probably eaten everything known to man on a hotdog during the 12 days of hot dog challenge 😂😂
Jackson is getting so big! Seeing him growing up hits differently since I became a mom. I'm watching this while holding my son who turned 1 month old today.
Currently, the isolation our kids are going through is causing even more mental health issues. Scary times. Thanks for mentioning this in the vlog today.
I just wanted you guys to know that I often watch your home vlogs...really nice respite from all of the current goings on now. Pleasant and comfortable. TY!
Jackson gives me so much joy 😍. Give it four years and tell us how enthusiastic you are towards blippi then 😱! Lol, he does have very catchy songs though! Xx
Corn on the Cob Cooking Tip! Wrap cob in wax paper by rolling it up and pinching ends closed, place in microwave seam down, and microwave 3-5 minutes for 2 cobs. Comes out soo crunchy and juicy! Better (in my humble opinion) than boiled and grilled.
True story, when I was in my early twenties in the late 1980’s my family lived in Salem Oregon my dad wanted to make a new creation to grill on the Weber. What he came up with he called burger dogs (absolute truth I swear). They were good, but just way to filling, and fattening. Just now my wife was watching your vid and when I realized what you were making, I had to share my memory with you. Great video as always too. From one Tim to another, nicely done. We love you cool videos showing all your adventures. You guys would be a lot of fun to hangout with.
LOL you guys talked about Blippi! My youngest son LOVES him! I think we’ve seen all of his videos many times. That horses song is actually a favorite here too! 😂😂😂 You guys made me laugh! Thanks for that!
Yes your life will be all about kids songs, lol. Jackson is so adorable. I cut myself on a mandaline really bad won't use again. Your lunch looked awesome. Thanks Trackers💓
Hi I work in preschool mostly with families who have children with delays, mostly speech delays. I love all the music and how much you talk with him. I love how Jen says the words slowly and uses a lot of descriptive words. Anyways just had to share. You guys are doing an amazing job with Jackson. Just wanted to say cause as parents it’s always good to hear.
I love hearing you guys talk about the different phases Jackson goes through. My daughter is a few months older than Jackson and almost every time you talk about one I’m like “Yep! Just went through that too!”
I watched this when it was released but I came back to it today because I couldn’t stop thinking about that grilled corn recipe. Although I had to adapt it a little (garlic powder instead of Garlic, jar salsa instead of fresh and a Tajin packet for lime and Chile flavor) , it was super delicious. Thank you so much for sharing the recipe. I look forward to trying more recipes from your home vlogs. I love your channel. Watching little Jackson grow gives this grandma’s heart joy. 🤗
Mexican here, "Pico de gallo" is a sauce that has tomatoe, onion, cilantro, lemon Juice and some green chili (like jalapeño or something similar). However I had never seen it in a powder... Great video! The corn you made is really different from the ones we eat here.
Itaquito - Mapas y Commandos - Minecraft I believe pico de Gallo is the brand name because I have seen it at our local Mexican store. It’s just chili powder. But yes definitely different how she made her elote!
"Your baby can learn", available on Amazon is amazing. Our son started this early learning programme at 9mths old. He could recognise words in an exceptionally short time. It created an awesome foundation for his learning. At age 7, he was accepted to participate in the Centre for Talented Youth, at Dublin City University, Ireland.
At 8 months, our children were only doing an hour nap after lunch. And I agree, doing some baby cereal at bedtime works great!! Hope this helps. Also around this time we played children music for our sons when they went to nap or bed too. We did Baby Disney or Chicken soup for babies for example. Hope this helps some! ❤️😁😇
Actually I told you wrong on the naps. My husband reminded me that it was actually 2 naps still at that time. It wasn’t till after a year old that it went to one nap in the afternoon but they were a little longer. You forget some of the details now that they are 17 and 19’years old. Haha. But I do highly recommend the music.
We as a family have been watching you for years. We love Florida and come every year, sadly this year we won’t be coming due to Corona 😞 We wanted time thank you both for all your informative and entertaining videos. We have watched Jackson from almost birth and he is such a cute and sweet little boy. You are all lovely people and we will continue to watch and enjoy your videos. Lots of love from the UK. ❤️xxx❤️
Well done on discovering Peter Combe! He has been an Aussie kids music icon for decades - he even does adults only shows for adults who grew up listening to his music. Make sure you check out “Wash your face in orange juice”
The beginning of the vlog reminds me of my conversations with my wife lol for example, I would ponder if we all see the same colors, like, how do we know that the actual color of blue is the same color I see whenever I see blue as opposed to someone else. Like what if their blue they see is actually the green that I know as green. We would never be able to differentiate because since we were young we were always taught that *this object* is *this color*, objectively speaking lol idk its dumb but always fun, also lololol for Jen with that gift in a box reference
It's a burger dog, or a ham dog, or a dog burger. Lol! It looks delicious to me. I love hot dogs. You know what would be even better. A better chedder sausage brat in a hamburger. Yum!
If you put your sauce in a ziplock bag and snip off one of the bottom corners you can drizzle the sauce over the corn and control the amount. Love that corn, always so good!
The “d” sound is a little trickier than the “m” sound. The “d” sound requires the tongue to go on the roof and make a smack sound (kinda), whereas the “m” is just lips pressed and a hum (much easier). Try showing him your tongue when saying “dada”. I give therapy to kids on the spectrum and that’s how we get them to make the “d” sound. Also, give him something really reinforcing so he gets something out of it and is more likely to do the sound. 😊☺️
My daughter said 'dja-dja' long before she said mama. Over here (UK) we've always been told that they say dada before mama because it's harder to form the mmm sound with the lips. Funny how different sides of the world think differently with child development! Also, bizarrely, her first deliberate word was 'teddy'!
I'm catching up on videos so just now saw that you guys mentioned blippi, omg I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets his songs in my head lol! The bulldozer dance and halloween song ALWAYS get stuck in my head lol
We feel your pain! Our 5 month old daughter has FOMO (fear of missing out) and creates big time when she wants to go asleep! The Name that Jenn called the hotdog burger, Frank n burger made us laugh!
We were due for a home vlog.Awesome..Great looking food, adorable baby. And Tim and Jenn so funny, I laughed through the whole thing. I have got to try that burger with the hot dog with bacon and cheese. Good stuff!♥️♥️
Hi there! Masters in linguistics and early childhood educator here :) So in your opening scene, you were talking about how kids learn, and you are pretty much correct! I lowkey hope you never stop. You can help and then end with "now it's time to pay the price". You're doing really really good work that a lot of other people don't do. I feel like it would be weird to stop "helping" at some point. So thank you
We found a tutorial on making t-shirt designs with bleach and freezer paper stencils. The kids and I went to town making adorable Disney themed shirts (made myself a Potatoland one). I wish I could show them to you. Anyway, it's easier than tie dye and so cute when they are done. As always we LOVE you guys and Jackson is cuter everyday!!!
I think the strawberry thing is meant for a convection oven and to put the strawberries on a rack (and then over a pan to collect juices). Basically it would work like a dehydrator due to the fan blowing heat over more surface of the strawberry. Air fryers are basically mini convection ovens.
One idea, you could slice the hot dog length-wise in half and form the burger around the two. That way it is flatter and would cook more as well as get the juices mixed up together better.
I have always loved tie dye.... lol it never went out of style for me... also Michaels and target sell kits that I think you can order and pick up same day 😊😊
Oh man! That strawberry “hack” has been around forever and all it does is waste strawberries. I cut mine first and definitely didn’t turn out like the picture. Love love love these home vlogs! I don’t even miss the park videos. Jackson is too cute!
Hey kids, I love how in love you are with parenting (your laughing and describing Buddy's bedtime antics is so cute). On a related note, I am Angie - TuTu of Olivia, future wife of Jackson, who is now a sweet sweet 6 month old with bright blue eyes and hair bits that looks blonde and ginger and who is just starting to say Dada. It's the sweetest thing. Maybe Jackson saying Mama first and Olivia saying Dada first is Oedipus related?
if it is a stainless steel sink you can bring that back to its former glory with some elbow grease and a scotch brite green pad. Side note I noticed you were looking at black sinks. The kohler neoroc is a great quality sink that will not crack like a lot of quartz sinks have a tendency to do. What’s worse is when you have a dark sink you aren’t likely to see the crack and it can wreak havoc on your cabinets if it leaks for awhile and you don’t know. Good luck!!

So true!!
I love little Jackson. His smile makes my heart happy..
“Your whole hotdog is sticking out”, I laughed way too loud...
How about when he was beating his meat? . Lol. I know Im bad!.
If Tim puts that on a t-shirt, I'm buying it.
MarkieLee I actually snorted out loud at a LOT of the comments in this video, including this one! I love a double entendre!! 🤣🤣🤣
I highly recommend looking to Shady Oaks Camp in Homer Glen, Illinois. It's a camp for people with disabilities. It's been running for 74 years and this year it was the first tie camp was cancelled in its history due to the pandemic. "You don't put a lot of stuff on hot dogs" says Tim the man who has literally probably eaten everything known to man on a hotdog during the 12 days of hot dog challenge 😂😂
I totally thought this
19:40 - "You took your wedding ring off?!" "You're not even wearing yours right now!!!" BAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Ok, you really should brand that "not a cloud in the sky" and put it on a Tshirt with clouds! 🤣 (& maybe the "Not cloud" arrows 😜)
The weather people at Fox8 tv in Cleveland, OH call 'not a cloud in the sky' NACITS (pronounced nakits)
Jackson is getting so big! Seeing him growing up hits differently since I became a mom. I'm watching this while holding my son who turned 1 month old today.

I love how every time Jackson says "momma" Tim goes "dada" lol
Tajin for the corn. And poor Tim... dada will come back around. The mmmmmm sound in mama feels good on teething gums. I love y'all. 😀
Love seeing Jackson. He is getting SOOO big. Tim is really a great Dad and Jenn also a great MOM.
Omg, Jackson’s smile is giving me such baby fever!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love that the “measuring station” from Disney day at home is still on the wall in the kitchen! Another Disney day at home is needed!!
Jackson gives me so much joy 😍. Give it four years and tell us how enthusiastic you are towards blippi then 😱! Lol, he does have very catchy songs though! Xx
Jackson is so adorable! He’s changing so much, love his facial expressions when you sing to him...so sweet🥰
More than likely the seasoning they sent was like Tajin, it's a Mexican topping thats used on everything including fruit!
Tajin is 🔥
@@armandohernandez6074 Yes!!
Not tajin
That's not tajin. I love tajin though!
We don't used tajin to season food just candy and fruit
haha! I had to pause after "safety fillet' because I was laughing too hard.
We need more info on the safety fillet. I'm imagining a safety steak!
Charlie Radford lol same!
Fantastic an injoyable video. Staying safe thank you. That burger hotdog sure looked good. Bacon burger sounds great. Stroberrys dehydrated are great.
“Right, that’s a demon.” So matter of fact. I need that on a t-shirt.
I’d buy that one
The “I Just Love Bananas” song reminds me of the Dracula musical in Forgetting Sarah Marshall 😂
Yesss!!! 😂😂
Best comment ever!
Yes
The way they described the song The Dracula musical was the first thing I thought.
😂😂😂 I can still hear it in my head
Love the time lapse of Jackson and Tim playing!
When my son was that age - I couldn't get him to keep sun glasses as long as Jackson! He's so precious! Love it!
Wonderful organization to spotlight. ♥️
If you like the Mexican Street corn Trader Joe’s has something called “Everything but the Elote” seasoning and it’s amazing.
The time lapse of Jackson playing made my day! He’s so cute!
Tim + hotdogs + burgers = feels like home
Awwwwww, I forgot how cute the babbling phase is, Jackson is the CUTEST!!!
True story, when I was in my early twenties in the late 1980’s my family lived in Salem Oregon my dad wanted to make a new creation to grill on the Weber. I grew up listening to Peter Combe in Australia!!! He was ‘the wiggles’ of the 80s/early 90’s here!!
LOL you guys talked about Blippi! My youngest son LOVES him! I think we’ve seen all of his videos many times. That horses song is actually a favorite here too! 😂😂😂 You guys made me laugh! Thanks for that!
You described that so well Jenn “ a log of burger with a hotdog shoved in the middle”, sounds yummy 😁
My son has been obsessed with Blippi since he was 1.5 years old. Those songs get stuck in your head all day!
Oh, he is just UNBELIEVABLY cute!
Jackson is going to be a mamma's boy and it's tooooo cute. I instantly smile seeing how happy he is.
Yes your life will be all about kids songs, lol. Jackson is so adorable. I cut myself on a mandaline really bad won't use again. Your lunch looked awesome. Thanks Trackers💓

hahahahaha! What the heck is a safety fillet?? lol That made me laugh so hard! Loved it.
Made the feta burgers and corn...DELICIOUS!!! Our favorite is still the biscuit hot pockets
Jenn: "Your whole hotdog is sticking out." 🤣🤣🤣 Tshirt idea there!!

super simple song, dave and ava and cocomelon are my daughter's go to channels. I also recommend Caitie's classroom it's on super simple play.

ok, i'm going to date myself, does anyone remember Theo's Bacon Burger Dog from The Cosby Show
Love “the box” step 3 reference! That was absolutely hilarious. Had to rewatch several times to see if that was where you were going
My girls and I loved the Dirty Sock Fun time Band. Dinosauring is a fun one!
Sci-fi Drive in used to serve a "picnic burger" which was a split grilled hot dog on top of a burger. So good!

Baked beans, hotdogs, and the lil mini hotdogs: beenie weenies. A family get together staple.

Cool sunglasses for a cool kid! Adorable! Great vlog!
I love banana's in the style of tip toe through the tulips! Yes I hear it! LOL
If you put your sauce in a ziplock bag and snip off one of the bottom corners you can drizzle the sauce over the corn and control the amount. Love that corn, always so good!
There is this song as a child I would sing in Girl Scouts that goes like “a circle is round it has no ends that’s how long I wanna be your friend “
Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver and the others gold.
The happiest, most smiley baby ever ❤️❤️❤️
The “d” sound is a little trickier than the “m” sound. The “d” sound requires the tongue to go on the roof and make a smack sound (kinda), whereas the “m” is just lips pressed and a hum (much easier). Try showing him your tongue when saying “dada”. I give therapy to kids on the spectrum and that’s how we get them to make the “d” sound. Jen is such a legend. We have decided to stan forever.
Tajin is the seasoning traditionally used on Mexican corn- it's a chile lime powder.
My little boy LOVES Blippi! His vids are great- fun and educational. For our house it’s the excavator song that we are always singing!
I'm catching up on videos so just now saw that you guys mentioned blippi, omg I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets his songs in my head lol! The bulldozer dance and halloween song ALWAYS get stuck in my head lol
My grandson loves Blippi especially the Garbage Truck song.
We feel your pain! Our 5 month old daughter has FOMO (fear of missing out) and creates big time when she wants to go asleep! The Name that Jenn called the hotdog burger, Frank n burger made us laugh!
The whole meal looks amazing! I have to make this ❤️
We were due for a home vlog.Awesome..Great looking food, adorable baby. And Tim and Jenn so funny, I laughed through the whole thing. I have got to try that burger with the hot dog with bacon and cheese. Good stuff!♥️♥️
Ok you guys have officially made me hungry 😋 and Jackson's sunglasses are awesome 👍😊
My niece and nephew love the Okee Dokee brothers. Kids music that doesn't drive you completely insane ❤.
My toddler is obsessed with Blippi. I also only know kids’ songs these days. 😂
"This is going to be sooo ok" LOL They should put that on the box!!
New kitchen sink is very exciting!!!
Hi there! Masters in linguistics and early childhood educator here :) So in your opening scene, you were talking about how kids learn, and you are pretty much correct! When I saw you shaping it I was like wow that looks gross but with it cooked...idk maybe I'll try it 🤔 that's quarantine baby
Also I really appreciate that y'all are still ending your videos with boosting organizations. I lowkey hope you never stop. You can help and then end with "now it's time to pay the price". You're doing really really good work that a lot of other people don't do. I feel like it would be weird to stop "helping" at some point. So thank you
My hamburger hack is to add an egg. (One egg per pound of meat) It helps the patties stick together!
Jackson has cooler sunglasses than me 😂😂, what a dude x
Love your videos!! They make my day!! Jackson is so precious.❤️
Love the part of the video where tim and jackson are on the floor playing in fast forward
I think the strawberry thing is meant for a convection oven and to put the strawberries on a rack (and then over a pan to collect juices). Basically it would work like a dehydrator due to the fan blowing heat over more surface of the strawberry. Air fryers are basically mini convection ovens.
Jenn!! You're a genius. Frank-in-Burger should definitely be a Universal Monsters restaurant that serves burgers with hot dogs in them
One idea, you could slice the hot dog length-wise in half and form the burger around the two. That way it is flatter and would cook more as well as get the juices mixed up together better.
That banana song is the stuff of nightmares!!!
Yay for a 38 minute home vloooooooog!!! 😍😍😍
I have always loved tie dye.... lol it never went out of style for me... also Michaels and target sell kits that I think you can order and pick up same day 😊😊
Goodness.

I liked your corn recipe. I love a cayenne-lime butter on my corn & sometimes use it on popcorn too.
Awww jackson loves the camera xx
Tim on a “flavor adventure!”
