It's about a bishop (ibn qiqi ابن قيقي is the name of the bishop) from around 600 - 1900 century (not exactly sure) that converted to islam. He later regret his choice and begged for forgiveness. This is his prayer (hymn) in the language of Jesus (Aramaic).

What I read is that "he left the christian faith". But he returned and wrote some very sad poems.
