Altravilla Milicia is on top of a hill, so it was a long walk to arrive up there, but the view is so much worth it!

Did you know that Altavilla Milicia got one of the most popular festival in Sicily? September 6, 7 and 8 each year. You should visit at that time. Warning: lot of walking, eating, entertainment and celebration.

Every city and town has its own patron saint, and like this all the places celebrate the day of their patron saint, as you were saying, in Altavilla it's in the beginning of September. I enjoy a lot going to Altavilla, especially for the view and the sweets!
