The only time I am able to record an ASMR video is at 3-4am... and
I got to tell you that it is really difficult to film ASMR at home...
the environment isn't really asmr friendly so I appreciate it if you would give me a thumbs up!! it will really help out my channel!

I think, that the akg-mices sound more "realistic" and have more white noise, but you don't get those smooth side to side transitions like with the yeti. Also the yeti has more bass and crunch, which is better for good mouthsounds, that are your element. Love your asmr, keep doing awesome content!!!

I think you should also consider that one the yeti there was no filterthingy on the mic
Accurate depiction, in my opinion though the akg sound "more intense" (in a positive way), in some cases
It seemed like the AKG 314's picked up more background noise while the yeti even when on full gain didn't pick up that much😄 Sometimes I actually do enjoy some of the ambient background noises it can be very calming and a nice aspect to an ASMR video in my humble opinion but it's ofc extremely subjective😁
Holy crap, I haven't been here since 3k subscribers. I remember me and my friends were mucking around and searched up dong asmr thinking it would come up with well (you know) as a joke. We then came across this channel and acted like dong was our god. Its amazing seeing a channel growing. Keep up the good work, Love you dong!

The AKG is better to me since i can hear the isolation between the left and right ear it focuses on each one independently unlike the blue yeti which sounds similar on both sides
I prefer th Yetis, the sounds are much more clicky and bassy. Also, even if it’s together, the left to right is so smooth and distinct. I think that The AKGs can also have that type of quality if adjusted right with maybe a sound mixer or bar. Great stuff as always man!

now you mention it the camera quality is really good, the lighting is also perfect
AKGs are amazing. Much more immersive. Once you hear them, there is no going back to the Yeti. More sound isolation is a must to bring out the full potential of the AKGs. Also, the new camera is great. Maybe you could try some immersive backgrounds? Congrats & best of luck moving forward and improving the overall experience. Thank you for your dedication!
I find higher quality audio to ironically make ASMR far less effective to me.

ikr they sound so good, and i think a lot of the noise can be fixed with finding the right settings I definitely think the AKG is much much better

Both mic setups are soooo tingly and relaxing 😌 Dong can make good videos with any equipment, even the cheapest microphone, but this is an extremely high quality treat!!

I like the AKG a lot, the sound is like you're in the same room as me, but the brushing might be better without the pop filter
HONEST OPINION:
The blue yeti Mollywops in all aspects
The akgs have much higher more noticeable background noice and the blue yeti has a punch the akgs dont have.
Akgs are great, just maybe not as much for asmr
Yep! Same :). I can hear the dollars in the akgs, but still prefer blue yeti :p. Blue yeti sounds more comfy and cosy to me. For some reason.

I think they both have redeeming qualities. The AKGs give the ear to ear effect which is like my favorite part of asmr, so major points there. They do have more white noise as well, which some people may not like but I think it adds a nice extra layer of sound and more relaxation:) The Blue Yeti is clickier and bassier, but that may also be because there is no mic cover for that one. It would be interesting to hear the AKGs with no mic cover, maybe that would combine the best parts of the blue yeti with the binaural component. Thanks for the continual top tier content, looking forward to what 2023 has in store for your channel!
AKG is also good but too much background noise for me. I prefer Blue Yeti.

I discovered you from your shorts video^^ Personally, I prefer you use the Blue Yeti microphone because I feel like the trigger sounds from BY sound clearer to my ears than the AKGs... But it is all up to you and the opinion of the majority of your subscribers though! Thanks for the video, Dong!

i definitely prefer the AKG brushing, and i think i would prefer the AKGs in general if they were more sensitive. i loveee the high gain of the blue yeti lol.

I'm listening it through AKG headphones. I can say that only difference between these two mics is that the AKG mics have more white noise.

Your godly mouth sound is best with the Blue Yeti. It has the bass and kick that AKG lacks. AKG is more 'crunchy' or 'renyah'. And it's kinda weird seeing Dong ASMR using 2 mics.
I feel like the akg has some echo and more background noise. I personally prefer the good ol' blue yeti.
The best part of this video is Dongs Lowkey tingly voice and the mouth sounds

I feel like the AKG can be setup a bit better like it is so so sensitive so we can hear the sound of the cars etc

I'm listening on very mediocre headphones, so that's impacting my experience. Speaking to the rainbow slugs, which I love, the clicks are clearer on the AKG yet I get more tingles from the Yeti. That might be something that changes if you can hear it as you go and get more familiar with the AKG. The AKG has more variety of pick-up, meaning same trigger in a different location sounds pretty different. Found you through your shorts, thanks for your effort
Blue Yeti will always be a legend to the ASMR community.

Never enjoyed dual mic setups. Ruins the “in the room” feel as there’s so much space between them. Doesn’t feel like it’s coming from my head. The blue yeti is still GOAT and I also sometimes enjoy the 3Dio mics with the ears, although their frequency response is a bit sterile imo.
New lens definitely throws it all together.

Dong with the duels is over powered
AKG sounds better in almost everything except mouth sounds and hand gloves. It melts my brain when you take both your hands above the yeti which you can't do with the AKG'S. Overall i would prefer the blue yeti over the AKG 😀

I think the akgs sound better but I'm more attached to the yet I because it's been around longer.
Partial to the up-closeness of the Blue Yeti, although I do understand the AKGs are "better." AKGs pick up a lot of ambient sound...could be good if you want that...or not if you don't. AKGs, with your current set up in this vid, have a much stronger hard left/right pan sound, which is cool for ASMR...gives it a nice binaural "wash" when going in a circle. Some artists put in a second track of crackling fire or rain to help offset the strong white noise of good mics. Nice vid and congrats!
I am not to knowledgeable about mics but I feel like a simple noise suppresion would fix it no?
@@truther4930 It may, but sometimes noise suppression results in a sharp cut off of the end or beginning of sounds.
@@KitkoMusic I see. Idk the only reason I brought that up is simply because how far we are going tech wise so I feel like thier would be more than enough options to make it sound better but idk.
@@truther4930 Yeah, it would definitely be worth a try. It's possible to get the hang of the best settings. Everyone's different, so different things would work for different people. Nice talking shop with ya. :)

some foam pads on the walls for sound isolation would need a really good thing for this mic with out much extra noise it picks up. just as much background noise suppression as possible with the akg because of how good they are.

I prefer the AKG because it's a higher quality binaural experience. The yeti feels like a weak presence to me. The sound doesn't sound as present or 3D to me.

For some reason your akgs sound different to each other. One on the right sounded better... maybe eq settings?
