Bought the base model yesterday. Took it for a burn from nigel to Roodepoort. The car moves up hills on 6th gear like a breeze. It is comfortable.i have the red one. Many people come to admire it when im at a parking lot up
Where is that wonderful diesel. Great value. That engine is a gem compared to the Fronx/starlet cross lack of power and torque. And this auto with 6 gears is a definite winner.
@devindownes8669 how have your experience been having the car now for about 3weeks? And what is the fuel consumption per 100km. Would appreciate your experience as I'm considering on the auto. Just wondering, thank you.
@johane956 loving it. The fuel consumption has been hard to judge due to the week I got it JHB traffic was at its busiest and then the second week it was calm due everyone being on leave. I travel about 90km a day to and from work and I'm currently getting about 600km per tank give or take. I went from a 2012 chevy spark to this so it was a massive jump in features but I'd highly recommend going for a test drive. I got the mx3
One reviewer was averaging 8L/100km and that was a mix of town, suburban and out of town driving, it was the automatic I'm sure the manual in the hands of someone who knows how to drive could get 7L/100km out of it on a mixed cycle ! The more power and torque you have the more it will drink petrol like a thirsty camel, that and it's 400 kg heavier than the Fronx, so if you're after fuel economy a GL Fronx would be a better bet than a MX3 3XO !
We bought the mx5 which has a reverse camera but it doesn't work. The dealer informed us that the vehicle requires a software upgrade however the camera still doesn't work after the update was completed. This is unacceptable!!!!

@@michaelflinn7784 Agree with everything you said! The diesel will be missed but it is the reality of emissions regulations
Would you honestly recommend the mahindra xuv 3x0 over the toyota starlet cross or the other way around??? Please help, am torn between the two
Struggling with the same decision at the moment. Let me know if you were able to come to a conclusion 💪🏽
Why not the Suzuki Fronx? Between the 3XO and the Starlet Cross, I am leaning towards the 3XO
@@AutoBot_7 decided to go with the Xuv 3XO MX3 MT 💪🏽

Is Mahindra selling in good numbers there is South Africa? How much does they sell in one month? Any estimate?
Entry level not bad at 250K compared to other brands as it has 6 airbags and Isofix. How is the fuel consumption

@oliverskinner8962 is spot on with the numbers. Cars.co.za did a review where they were getting very high numbers, but this is not accurate
Here for the SAWSS! 😁

Sorry to hear about your issues with the camera, that is really frustrating.
