On November 30th 2021 Alex Schulz walked a 1712m long slackline over Canyon del Sumidero - blindfolded. It took him 75min minutes and ~5000 steps to cross the 800m high line.
This project has been planned for over two years. Setting up & walking such monster lines is a community effort for sure. Rigging was done by 4 Germans & 4 Mexicans, of those bigline experts Moises & Daniel Monterrubio well as our friends Andrea Dattoli, Clemens Augustin, Luis Depping & Sebastian Nava were all essential. Alejandro Llorens also did the crucial job of flying the connection successfully across with his drone.
Huge shoutout to Altius for making this project possible, the state of Chiapas for having us & Johannes Olszewski for capturing priceless memories in this cinematic clip.
Thanks to our partners Stubai (www.stubai-spo..., Evoc (www.evocsports...), Balance Community (www.balancecom...), Michael Radeck and most important Atlas Lens Co (atlaslensco.com) for their amazing support!
    Special thanks to:
    - Andres Valencia, Ernesto Rivas & Mariana Guzman for following the idea till the end!
    - Friedi Kühne, Lukas Irmler & David Sjöström for renting their gear!
    - Alejandro Roaro, Miguel Salazar, Helena Barber & Mireya González Constantino also joining the party.

When Sandy and I see you doing this...and then think about where you first started in your parent's back yard....
    WOW!
