Some pain is temporary,some is not. For example if I lose a friend I will most recover fully,however having just lost my little brother 5 days ago and having lost my grandfather 17 years ago I can say that I will never fully recover from that.
My eyes are literally watering. I do not know how to express it at the moment. I'm not getting enough sleep because of depression and anxiety, listening to it is such a great relief. Sad how we're missing on such simple and beautiful things available in nature.

When I'm feeling sad and empty... I listen to Christmas music and replay my happy carefree childhood memories in my mind. At first it's sad knowing those days are gone.. but... Knowing I can replay them over in my head always makes me feel better. I'll always be grateful to my mom and dad for these cherished memories.
That was when kids played outside unsupervised from morning to night…entertaining ourselves and exploring the world. Whenever you think you have it bad, just think of what kids have been deprived of since. Having a great frame of reference is a double edged sword in a world gone haywire. We know a lot better than people think. It makes us strong and able to find a way out of this mess to go back home in some form; who wants what is demanded today, it’s a bad deal most of all for kids,
I actually live in a Cabin in the Woods atop a mountain valley high hill and experience this type of weather a few times a year; off the grid with a wood stove: cozy, comfortable, and secure.
I love this. It's a little surreal because you're "outside" experiencing the power of a winter blizzard, and yet on your porch you're protected from the wind and the snow and you have a fire to keep you warm. And yet if you were out in the forest in the middle of this blizzard you would be facing a life or death situation. The fact that this video actually places you outside kind of brings home this dichotomy.
@@maydanlex Good point. However, you would still be in trouble if you were in it in the middle of nowhere, unless you were an experienced winter outdoorsman.

@@maydanlex Five days at one time of winter camping would definitely be a challenge and give you a very good idea of the difficulties involved. Yes, being wet (through perspiration or otherwise) is definitely a bad combination with winter cold!

It snowed like this today, at first it was a fine snow, and then it turned into the big plopping snow like small clumps. It was beautiful to watch as they floated down and landed with those soft sighs. The air was full of floating wisps and feathers of snow, building slowly upon each other. The noises of the town were muffled and pillowed by the drifts, and I stood and watched cosy and warm again. The power was out for two long days in minus nine weather. It sure makes you appreciate things like heat and being able to make a cup of tea or heat some soup. The whole town was out and everyone pulled together, I didn’t know that as my phone battery was dead. Note to self, restock candles, buy a small propane stove and get a new wooly jumper. ⛄️
