thanks for sharing, hard groovin' talent, Miles Davis's hard bop favourite saxophonists Sonny Rollins/Jackie McLean, gifted cats, remember hearing Sonny Rollins live summer of 1978, the Joyus Lake club, Woodstock, NY, USA. Sonny had a Sure SM-58 microphone with cable wrapped around the bell and mic dropped right into the bell of Sonny's tenor sax, mic plugged directly into a Fender guitar amp, what a sound, great to hear these heroes boppin'!
Jackie mclean one of my all time favorites he always came out swinging.

Thank you, Bret. Excellent music from 5 masters + great scenery.🔥🌟🌹🌟🔥
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed the music and the informative comments from Sonny Rollins!
Fantastic interview and jamming
Loved Jackie with Lee Morgan, Larry Willis quintet. Infinity, Charisma, Jackknife. Suicide City, the Murphy Man etc.
Gorgeous work. One of my favorite McLean collaborations was with Junko Onishi back in the day. Need to dig around and see if still have that.
Sonny Rollins and Sadao Watanabe are both type B aliens, so...?💜
B Type Ailens? Please explain.
