That is an insane area to go to during the summer. I live about 30 minutes away from there, and it is always like an all day party. I remember going there when I was a kid (I am soon to be 66), and it was really nice and quiet as well as the other springs in the area. Glad you had a great time with lots of great finds. Good to see Paleo Chris in there as well.

I come from northern Europe and we don't have alligator here....so the thought of swimming in a river with one is scary. What do you do to be safe from them? Are they not hunters or do they leave you alone?

You guys should look in the Elk river in Missouri! Gets so busy during the summer, you guys would find so much! I know over the years it has claimed of mine 3 pairs of sunglasses, a Bluetooth speaker, phone, and some flash lights. I'm sure 1000's of people could say the same! and plus side no alligators LOL
