It’s the ethanol and probably much thicker oil which makes it more difficult on start up but it safer when you give it the beans.
@@RAlNYDAYS couldnt he just pull the ignition fuse and prime the engine to build oil pressure before starting it?
@@staydown4bo I didn’t think of that honestly probably a good idea. I run thicker oil and ethanol which is why I felt that was the issue he was having. I’m on a much less intensive setup so I’m able to crank start pretty easily if I give it a bit of gas it won’t die. However his setup is way beyond my imagination, I’m sure the method you mentioned could be useful to him if he isn’t already aware of it.
@@RAlNYDAYS i can say it works. My g35 has been parked since last summer but about 4 months ago i tried starting it how it was like a dumbass. Had a gnarly rod knock for like 30 seconds because all the oil had drained to the pan. Yesterday, I put fresh oil, new ngk laser spark plugs and pulled the fuel pump relay to crank it and get oil into all the little spots. It started up like a dream (besides weak crank bc i siphoned the old gas out) and made no noise and sounded like it was never even parked up
