Haha thanks Jaron! Yeah it was pretty lights out on the front nine especially. If I could have just hit the ball a bit better should have been in the 70s for sure!! Next time…
Tanner Thompson yeah it was one of my better putting rounds. Still not enough to break 80 though unfortunately... those 2 lost balls killed my momentum!
Silvertip is the ultimate mountain golf experience! What beautiful scenery. The greens have some nasty movement to them. My ball striking was super, my putting on these greens was not good, WAY to many 3 putts. Still a fantastic course!
@roytoubassi3059 As I indicated Silvertip is the ultimate mountain golf experience! Greens very challenging! Shooting a score won't be easy! Very scenic Stewart Creek is awesome as well! A little more user friendly. Scenic as well. Kananaskis has two great courses! Again quite scenic as well. Maybe not the up down layout like Silvertip. A must play in the Csnmore area BTW how many rounds do you intend to play? That might help me narrow it down for you!
I just played my first time there and ripped through the course with the rental driver!! And had such a hard time in the rough around the greens (thick rough) and with green speed/ cuts... Played the white and found every fairway with the driver! In my opinion, the banks actually keep the ball in play on the roll haha I got par from the blue on the 13th with a perfect drive behind the 3 traps on the left, good pitch to the center of the green and 2 putt (got my favorite golf pictures of all time now!). The course was empty last Sunday and I ripped through it in 3h30! Had a blast! Great place!!
Great videos and great channel concept. One thing of feedback I'll add is you should put a bar behind the par/yardage text, just so it's easy to read against the background. Hope you enjoyed your time in the valley!
@@BeattheCourseGolfChannel ya played Stewart and kananaskis a hand full each. Only filmed weddings at Silvertip but never played. I'll film a shot for shot hitting only driver off the tee. The dumb/fun way
do you look at the hole when you putt? I have been trying that on my lagg putts recently for better distance control, but how do you do it for short putts? How do you hit your first line without looking? Thanks
@@alexiaclaudio5574 I used to but have since switched back to looking at the ball. It works reallly well for lag putt distance control. I now putt to a spot on the green
First time on your channel. I noticed on your initial comments that you say Silvertip Resort is surrounded by the Rock Mountains of BC, When in fact the mountains are in Alberta. Just for your information.
I work at this course currently. It's so interesting to watch someone else play it. Great video! I definitely need to hit more irons off the tee lol
Haha yeah conservative play goes a long way here
I come to this channel to see the most beautiful courses on earth - and you do not disappoint!
Glad to hear! We have 2 more videos on the way very soon from the 2 nicest courses we've played yet... Stay tuned :)
Love this course. Fortunate enough to play it in July. Course was under construction but still a round I won't forget. Great video!
Yeah it’s too bad about the construction but still so much fun!
Dude your putting this round was absolutely astounding..
Haha thanks Jaron! Yeah it was pretty lights out on the front nine especially. If I could have just hit the ball a bit better should have been in the 70s for sure!! Next time…
You’re putting is light out 👍

I have never heard of the three sisters before. Cool mountains. Great looking course.
Frost 89 Ya they are 3 peaks that you can see from most of Canmore. Beautiful peaks!
New subscriber here. What a beautiful, tough, and narrow course. Awesome job with the flyovers for each hole!
Thanks Daniel! Glad you enjoyed it.
Wow! Booking tee time soon. One of the nicest golf play by play video out there. Cheers from Toronto!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Love this course so much! I am going out for my fourth round of the year here tomorrow. This has never disappointed.
Enjoy! Such a great spot

How would you rank silvertip, kanansakis, canmore and stewart creek? Going to banff for the first time

Wife and daughter and myself were there last year. Best on earth. Banff over rated. Will be back soon. 🏌️♂️ 🏌️♀️
Yeah such a great spot! I will definitely be back at some point.
Loved it, making me jealous of these Canadian beauties
Thanks Will! Where are you from?
@@BeattheCourseGolfChannel I’m from United States. Lots of nice courses near me in Michigan, but would love to play over in Canada!
@@chalmuns8571 Nice! I’d like to get down your way to play/film some courses in the future as well.

Appreciate the feedback! Definitely looking to make improvements as we go so this is really helpful. We had a blast, can’t wait to go back!
Man. Have a round here penciled in for 2021 for sure. Good vid buddy
Awesome! Thanks for the feedback. If you’re headed this way anyways, Stewart Creek and Kananaskis are 2 amazing tracks as well. Have you played there?

Zim and the Rocket haha ya my score would have been a lot different if I played driver all round! It’s a beautiful spot for sure
@@BeattheCourseGolfChannel score was good. I always shoot a few strokes worse when vlogging. Too much to do.
Zim and the Rocket yeah it’s hard to stay focussed but still a blast!
Maybe just the scenery, or maybe the best camera work...but looks. Fantastic. Seconds on the putting, killer.
Thanks! I don't think I can take credit with the camera work though - the course is just that beautiful!
Great video. Can I ask what time was your tee time? It gets dark quick with the mountain shadows. Also what month did you go?
Oh man, I wish my memory was that good! This was a while ago, would have been an early morning tee time late summer I think…?

Dude's putting in unreal, Jesus if only lol
Haha thanks Dan! I promise it’s rarely this good.
Dude, great testament to keeping it real. The ups and downs of a great round. What time of year is this?
Thanks! This was late summer I believe
What a spectacular course!
2nd hole lip out hurts 😢
Ya, that was a tough one. Definitely a beautiful course, every hole has a nice view!
The ball actually went in if you pause the video. the Covid protector blocked it.
@@dlepan yeah it was tough to tell in real-time but I think you’re right!
First time on your channel. I noticed on your initial comments that you say Silvertip Resort is surrounded by the Rock Mountains of BC, When in fact the mountains are in Alberta. Just for your information.
Ahh yes that’s completely my bad! So used to golfing in BC it’s a habit.
Not a bad round on a tough course!! Pretty brutal when you can't even hit driver until the back 9. Not my kinda golf course. Nice views though!
Were the greens difficult to read?
Not overly. Breaks were obvious like most mountain courses. I find subtle greens way harder to read
Yikes
